  5. Your best and cheapest bet would be to go to a Jap wrecker and source another window. Then either call a local glass mob to install it for you, might be worth giving some smash repairers a go for the install.
  6. Disconnect battery. Remove intake. Remove clutch fan and radiator. Disconnect cooler pipes. Unplug all connections and label them (including ground wires) Remove shifter. Remove tailshaft. Remove gearbox. Unbolt engine mounts. Lift engine out and and put it on an engine stand for disassemble. Make sure you put all nuts and bolts in separate bags and label them. GOOD LUCK!
  7. 3inch is all you will need mate.
  8. Still plenty of kits available. Get your order in before the end of the month. Here is a pic of the BOSCH 6000k installed:
  9. Seeing how E85 burns colder, would that mean it would be a good idea to change back to '6' heat range plugs? My tuner tells me anything over 1 bar on 98, run '7' heat range.
  10. Sure is.
  11. (Slaps head) With the amount of work put in to this car i seriously thought you would of taken this car to the grave. Good luck with the sale Chris, worth every bit and more of the asking price!
  12. lol That was me Jeff I took the long way to work.
  13. Go to Pirtek mate. All of my lines and fittings from various turbo setups have come from them.
  14. The circlip on the gearbox is back on so no more suprises. The interior is still a mess (no back seat, no headunit ect) Did an oil change yesterday but i have not driven it much due to this damn heat wave. Ill be sorting out all the little bits when it starts to cool down. Catch can lines need to be made, interior ect ect. I will be out at Harry's tonight for sure at around 930ish. Took it out for a little spin after the oil change. Im not sure if i have mentioned but im running off wastegate pressure which is 10psi. The decision to get the wastegate plumbed into the turbo housing was a great idea. Hits 10psi and stays there! Revved it out a bit on the drive this time to about 6000rpm. Even at 10psi the thing pulls hard from 4000rpm and sound great. I estimate power to be around the 250rwkw mark. So with E85 and 24psi tuned in two weeks who knows what it will be
  15. Pm's replied.
  16. Figure skating right? lol My engine would be run in if i had to drive to your neck of the woods Two issues i have with the car. The gearbox/engine sandwich not being installed means the heat from the engine transfers to the gearbox tunnel and then into the cabin. With no A/C yet, the cabin heats up very quickly. The other is the gearbox itself. The syncros are buggered. Shifting into first at a set of lights sound like engaging a straight cut box, and if i downshift too fast into 4th it grinds. So i think a full box rebuild is on the cards after Powercruise. Ill be heading out to Harry's Cafe at Liverpool at around 9ish.
  17. So who is up for a meet up tonight
  18. Here it is: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SMD-T10-168-194-5-L...%3A1|240%3A1318
  19. I will send you a link of the ones i bought. But seeing they only lasted a few hours ill be looking at other options.
  20. Funny that, when we done one of our many pull overs. As we were looking at them one of them died lol
  21. Got a call from Steve (N1GTR) this arvo, both of us need to put some K's on our engines so we decided a nice drive down the coast is in order. Here are some happy snaps: While we were driving up Bulli Pass i shifted into 4th and then the shifter came out of the box. So being stuck 4th gear going up a rather steep incline i did my best to get the turbo to spool up (was only doing 60km at the time) I was frantically trying to get it back in, and trying not to let the car stall. As i was going up the hill i was saying "I think i can.... I think i can" lol Finally at the top Steve was on the side of the road waiting for me. With my foot holding down a rather heavy clutch and trying to get this shifter in was rather funny. Steve said this is too funny not to take a photo of: And me laughing my arse off trying to get the bloody thing in: So the engine has a healthy 400kms on it
  22. Dodgey! Thats Charlies EBOOST pic. This thread will be reported to admin.
  23. No Steben, fuel lines were around the wrong way
  24. Sounds like a battery Anthony. Had the same issue with mine many moons ago, needed to be jump started. Not sure if yours is that bad.
  25. Just got back from a very hot drive. No A/C at the moment. After the start problem we had a small fuel issue. But all sorted. Took the car for a spin down to the tuners and then took it for a well needed wash. The car looks so much better when you are not looking at it in a garage. Wheels and stance set it off. Wastegate pipe is made and fark it is loud. Much gating to be had at Powercruise Will be heading out to KK on Friday night if anyone wants to catch up?
