  1. Hi all, I think one of my headlights has a slight problem with the adjustment. I can adjust it up but will not come down, how does this mechanism work? I assume its like a screw and thread, as you wind it in and out it follows a thread. Maybe the thread has popped out, so its pushing the light up as i wind in but doing nothing as i wind out. How would i fix this? Just keep winding it up until the thread works its way back into the headlight?
  2. IMO these do not glare as much as the cheaper brands because the place in the bulb where the light is created, is further up on the bulb. That extra 4mm or so makes all the difference. This means light does not escape around the shield when looking from an angle. Ill post some pics when i get my car on the road.
  3. Finally got around to install my BOSCH HID kit and charge my battery. The drivers side is the 6000k bulb and the passenger is 5000k.
  4. Leaving around 10ish. Now Paul, i take the Bugewoi exit right? I dont want to go all the way up the freeway again lol
  5. Why is it always you that starts these threads Paul lol
  6. If this is a serious thread then i would do as follows: Strip the car completely Cage Good suspension package Larger sump Upgraded oil pump And all the bolt ons for about the 450hp range. Should be a fun track car. And relatively cheap.
  7. Funny you should ask that, i had another person who had a H1 and a H3C bulb in their car. He ordered 1x H1 BOSCH KIT 1x Pair H3C BOSCH bulbs. R32Abuser i think his user name was, just ask him. That was $298.65
  8. I have one, but i want you to beg for it
  9. Ah so you have the HKS version not the Garrett version
  10. You only have the .63 rear housing? Jeez your power figure is impressive then, that would have to be the limit of flow for that turbo. Might give 2bar a try, my new engine setup has slightly bigger cams and lower CR than the previous one so its a little more boost friendly. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANTHONY aka MAD SCIENTIST as Paul says
  11. Its all good Tyson. Just a protective liner so the bracket will not scratch the ballast.
  12. I dont what you are trying to achieve here mate. The only reason you get these kits cheaper is because import them yourself. Im buying them locally from a business here in Syndey. Im buying the from SDC Performance in Sydney. www.sdcperformance.com.au All warranty claims are first mentioned to me then i pass it on to them.
  13. No offence taken. I do not import these kits, i only buy them from a local distributor here is Sydney. So no i do not make a profit from these HID kits as i have said previously. And yes i should pose the question in a persons thread who is obviously breaking forum guidelines. So before you jump on your high horse, why should all the other traders on this forum who run legitimate businesses pay to become traders when cowboys out to make a quick buck can undercut them??? I do not think im in the wrong here do you?
  14. The pic that was supplied. The cam gear was red, grey teeth and no logo. However the design of the actual gear looks the same. I have been told if i send them a sample they will match it. I just dont know the legality side of copying a name brand logo. Either way im going to order 20 sets for a group buy. They will perform the same as any other cam gear out there so im not worried. Half the price of a genuine item
  15. I have a spare bottom end here if you want it Anth?
  16. lol It will be a test mule, But ill be the one riding it.
  17. BINGO! Im going to squeeze every usable (safe) power i can with my E85 setup. Maybe 340rwkw.
  18. No mate this is a Group Buy, I make little to no money on these, just depends where the kit is shipped to. Unlike yourself who is breaking forum rules selling HID kits in the Forsale section for an obvious profit.
  19. Because you might get a big shock or you could fry your ECU if you do something wrong. And considering you did not know your headlight bulb to your highbeam.....need i say more.
  20. Disconnect the negative terminal on you battery. Pull dust covers off. Pull the wires out of the dust cover (you will need a dremel to cut the hole bigger so you can get the wires out) Then cut a 50c piece out of the dust cover. This is for the HID bulb wires to go through. And dont worry there is a gromet attached to the wires that will plug up the bigger hole. Carefully put the HID bulb in without touching the bulb, Hook the metal clip back over the HID bulb, will be a little harder than before but it will hook on. Take the negative wire off the headlight housing and plug it into the black wire on the HID ballast Take the red wire you had plugged into your old halogen plug and plug that into the red HID ballast wire. Feed the HID bulb wires through the dust cap and plug them into the ballast. You will see onthe side of the ballast a - and + make sure when you make the ballast connection the red wire in on the + side and the black on the - side. There the kit is connected, put the dust cover back on and afix the ballast somwhere safe in your engine bay. Put neg lead back on the battery and turn you headlights on. I normally leave them on for about 10mins after i first start them. Here is a phone pic of the completed install, sorry for the quality of the pic. Hope that helps.
  21. Selling because im buying a more race orientated seat.
  22. Running my engine in on pump. Then switching to E85 and 25psi. Hoping to see 330rwkw there abouts.
