A set of drop in cams would be good. Tomei Poncams 260deg i think they are for NEO heads. I hope your head gasket is not over 1.2mm in thickness?

Yes you will need just one for the EX cam. And you can adjust them your self, however if you are not mechanically minded i would get a professional to do it.

They can be defectable yes. As long as you get a sensible colour temp and have your headlights angled properly i dont think you will have a problem. I have HIDs in both of my cars and never had a problem.

If that is your end goal for the car this is what i suggest. Buy yourself a 1.5L run about for daily driving. Keep the Skyline in the garage and slowly build it up to the point where you want it. There is no need to go through steps 1,2,3 to get to step 4. Do step 4 and thats it! Trust me if i knew my car was going to get to the stage its at now i would have done things very differently. Save yourself time and money and do it once and properly otherwise you will spend 10 times more than you expected. END THREAD
