I dont see how they can be backwards, there is only one spot for the power. The other is the earth. Just to confirm, the spade connector with the black plug on it is the????

I unbolted the starter and got my brother to crank it. The thing certainly does jump! From what i could see the gear spun but the solenoid did not pop out. So i think the signal to the solenoid is the issue. Ill have a better look at it in the morning.

No Duncan i didnt. I threw in the towel before i threw my engine crane through the windscreen. Ill get back on it in the morning. EDIT: Duncan there is $100 in it for you if you can get my car started

Yes the flywheel is on The solenoids in both starters do not seem to be working. So its either two sh1t starters or something else.

I just spaced out the started with a 2mm spacer and still the same I dont get it, nothing else has changed.

Hi Dave, I have two old ones. I dont think its the starter anymore.

Block is earthed. Running from a bolt that holds the engine mount bracket to the block. The sandwich plate was not installed. The old one was cracked in half (new one on order) Ill space out the starter 2mm to compensate?

Its sound like the pinion gear is grinding on the flywheel. The starter does not click. All connections are good. I was thinking an earth issue aswell.

Man that is cheap for the E11V2! Ill have to tell some people about this.

Still nothing! What else could it be? Battery is charged. The solenoid is not doing anything. The starter turns over but its like its not attached to the flywheel.

I fully recharged the battery last week, so i guess its not as healthy as i thought it was. Engine might be alive tonight pending battery charge, definitely tomorrow.

Note to self: Before buying another starter motor make sure the battery is reading more than 9V.

Easiest Way To Remove Spigot Bearing

My spigot bearing was chipped the last time i put the box back on, which resulted in it being noisy. How long can i drive with it being noisy like this? If the noise gets worse ill obviously have to fix it, but in the meantime? Sounds like a straight cut box at the moment lol -
Need an RB25DET starter motor with bolts. Has to be in great condition. Let me know if you have one. Will pay $50 for one. CHEERS

Engine in But i need a new started motor, what a bloody anti climax And boy the car needs a damn good wash. Dust mixed with oily fingers and hands all over it. Engine bay needs a good detail too. Anyone know where i can get another starter motor ASAP? How much to get it recoed?
