    With all the track time that car (Mines 34) has seen i wonder how many times that motor has been built???? And i bet the mechanics do a little bit more to "their" stage 2 motor compared to one built for a customer.

    The Cometic gasket i will be using is a MLS 3 layer metal type.Maybe i should have ordered the 1.3mm instead???

    Hi all, I will be having my engine rebuilt with all the goodies and i have a question on CR. What would be the average amount of material shaved off both the head and the block. 4 thou off each?? When the head and block gets shaved,so as the gasket can seal correctly,will my CR rise alot? I have ordered CP pistons at 9.0:1 CR (stock RB25 CR) and a 1.2mm Cometic headgasket (stock thickness) CHEERS

    No way dude.And actually stock bore is 86mm.You will need to get the bores honed.If it the first time you engine is getting rebuilt,get the the 86.5mm(20 thou overbore) pistons Unless you motor got completely lunched and your engine builder has to hone 1mm out of the bores.

    The neo one would be better for response,both will put out similar power.

    Wow.Thats a great looking screamer.Would be interesting to hear what it sounds like (hint hint) Ill be getting two dump pipes made soon, One to go with the screamer and one fully plumbed. Best of both worlds,the screamer will be only for track use though.

    I had shortened KYB shocks with King superlows in my falcon.Handled good on the street.And for the price i would do it again.Not in the skyline though.Teins FTW.

    Anything under 5.5kg i would steer clear from.The Xtreme ones are good. FYI: The HKS EVO runs into the 53sec range around Tsukuba circuit with a standard flywheel.

    Look on a website like Nengun they have part numbers.Or if you put it in and the pump sounds 3 times as loud as the stock one,then it will be a Nismo one.
