Is the rattling coming from the head or bottom end? Rattling sound could just be lifters. Did you replace the oil recently? Is there enough oil? Run it for around 20minutes and see if gets quieter/goes away. This is a pretty common problem. -Brent.

Could also be tie rod ends? I've noticed the same feeling you're describing, and my tie rods have a bit of play in them. I'm putting the problem down to them. I'm yet to replace them, but when I do, I'll let you know how it feels. -Brent.

That thing is always in Cardiff. It just sits in slightly difference spots all the time because it's for sale. Atleast it looks better than it did. I beleive it had a Veilside kit when it was for sale in a car yard at Edgeworth. Also I spotted a Grey or Black R33 in Cardiff (Cardiff Toyota Intersection) at around.. 8:00pm-ish.

Spotted an R33 pass me Northbound on Sydney/Newcastle Freeway and then spotted it going Southbound about 15minutes later. Looks very nice

Followed a Grey R32 GTST from Glendale today, he pulled into the Mobil I think. Looked shmick. Plates were BAE-xxx.

Spotted Grey R33 at roundabout just before Salamander Shopping centre. Gave me a nod, I waved back.

Spotted White R33 S2 with silver/polished aluminum rims, nice dish coming out of Cardiff Industrial at about 3pm today.

Spotted white R33 S2 in Beaumont street today. Also spotted 2 White R33's together at intersection of Tudor and Parry Street. Thought one was MzSkyline's car? Not sure though.

Are you saying all R33's have VCT? If so I didn't know this... No mechanics told me it, I just read it somewhere... Probably wikipedia or something inaccurate like that. It was a while ago. Hell, I could even be imagining that this is the case. Maybe previous owner didn't know or was lieing that it came out of an R33. Is there any visible way I can tell whether it has VCT? Thanks... Hmmm. My RB25 made 115rwkw, with catback exhaust and a pod. I didn't think it would make much difference though? Does anyone think any internal mods could have been done? I've always wondered this myself, but the previous seller never stated so. It's only out of an R33 Series 1, so it hasn't even got VCT.

I have an R32 with an RB25DE, but it has had the conversion done.

Have you got any mods? If so, what mods. My RB25DE with only cat-back exhaust (probably makes no diff anyway) make 115kw aswell. No other mods, I am sure of that

Nah, the coupe pods don't fit very well, and the 4 door pods are very hard to find, and will cost too much I think i like your first idea

Well actually, when we were getting the front bar sprayed (soon I hope) to same colour, the rear bar was going to be sprayed too, because the condition of it is a bit scrappy (can't see the other side). Thanks for the ideas though mate, I really think it will help just thinking about it now -Brent.

Hey, I was just wondering if any brand makes a rear bar for the 4 door R32 which isn't so bulky like BN Sports, Vertex etc. As you can see in the picture, the sideskirts were a genuine factory option and aren't big like the other brands, so I need something that will suit them, as well as the Type-M front bar which doesn't come down too low either. Basically I would like to achieve a subtle kind of look. Yes the front bar is black and will be sprayed soon Thanks alot, Brent.

Hey, well i'm in need of some quick advice before tomorrow. I need to know some reasonable settings for taking pictures of some drifting at Oran Park tomorrow. I've been taking photos for a while, and am not shit at it, just don't use custom settings for aperture and exposure etc. I have a tripod and will be using it. Well the R33 Autech 4 door is a "40th Anniversary Edition". There was also a Nismo version of the Autech version lol, but both I think are the same year model. I've searched thoroughly for about 1 hour or more. And finally come up with that.... Skylines were first produced in 1957, making the Autech R33 a 1997 model.
