I second that... time for a Skoda... they look nice... oh change of mind... did you guys watched tonight's top gear.... I believe Skoda is not the answer, we should all get the V8 supercharged HSV. it's got terrific reviews from Top Gear UK -

that;s what I found of vortex too.. although Nelson seems to like vortex and dislike shell v-power... haven't tried bp yet, I have to finish this whole tank of vortex, and then give bp ultimate a try.... in a couple of weeks. once that's done i'm gonna post a comparison of mileage between those fuel brands and see if there is any different... it may not be scientifically sound as changing the whole brand of fuel after a tank probably won't yield a long term realistic usage consumption figure... but would be interesting to know... i've tried mobil synergy so far, v-power, and now on vortex, bp ultimate next.... might have result to post here in november... -

one more thing Nelson... on Caltex' Vortex Premium although I find the engine sounds smoother and quieter, I noticed there is a massive lack of responsiveness... something that is just missing from V-Power although the shell made the engine sounds rougher like a ford pickup truck. it could be your fuel... time to go back to Shell V-Power perhaps for you.... -

yep, just throw in 15k-ish for one of those APS twin turbo kits, drive in drive out... if you still get beaten by that Skoda then it will be a very bitter slap of reality, sell the V35 and get a Skoda. -

V8 = wins by torque DC2 = wins by weight guys when will you all learn??? V35 is NOT intended for performance in mind... a sit back, luxury cruiser it is... try dragging a lexus Is250 next time (don't get it wrong u will still loose if you try against IS-F) or any non-AMG, non-Brabus benz or shopping cart BMWs.... wake up to the reality boys, sell your cars for WRX/Evo or put up with it. -

or couldve been modded. turbo + boost bleed valve = instant joy under $100, and turbo dont run out of puff longer, as yhe higher the rpm, the better it spools n boost... n/a is always geting choked at high rpm. have u got a z-tube? -
true.... DVD is probably easier to do, as long as the person has a dual layer burner... which should be pretty common these days. the problem is the firmware. no one here I think can do that without actually sending the whole DVD ROM drive unit to you (the actual hardware). and doing so means the person taking off the DVD ROM will loose all AV on the factory nav screen... because that thing is the 'brain' that controls the whole navigation and trip computer.

hm, slight timing differences perhaps. I normally got to the city around 8:10-8:20. Nope, normally I spotted WNC*** Maybe yours white, blended with fleet cars and white delivery vans , lol , while silver is 'standard' v35 colour so our sub-conscious 'tuned in' and pick them up straight out of the crowd ;-) he he -

spotted a silver V35 this morning around 8:05 am on Dynon Rd heading out from the city towards west... no privacy glass on the silver V... hm, seems like V35 is becoming more and more common very soon! -
that speedometer too fast means when it shows 106.88kph on the speedo you actually only travelled 100kph actual speed. so yeah, you kind of 'loose' 7km/h in addition to stock setting which can vary by about 5-10km/h, you could be around 10-20km/h off the actual speed... either you change the tyres, or you drive faster with additional 10km/h in mind... e.g. if the road limit is 100kph u just drive at your speedo showing 110kph. or move over to the left lane, no one would blame you for driving 5-10 under on the left lane.

ok - free plug, because of the numbers of this questions have popped up on the forum, i will attach an excel spreadsheet that i have created for my own purpose... feel free to improve it. use the circumference difference as a guideline because circumference is the rolling surface of your tyres that will affect the actual distance you travel within 1 rotation of the tyre, and eventually affect the actual speed vs shown speedo speed in your car.. Tyre_Size.zip
-
if your current tyres is slightly smaller than the std manufacturer's spec you will 'loose' speed. e.g. if your Speedo is showing 100 km/h, in the real life you only travelled less than 100 km/h from what you described with those sizes 295/30R18 is 6% circumference less than 245/45R18 so you will 'loose' about 6% on your speedo than what is shown. if most cars by factory standard has their speedo reads about 3-7% higher than actual speed, then the way you describe you loose about 10% would be right, because if V35 has 4% speedo error, with your tyres, it will be 10% difference. So your speedo shows 100km/h but you only actually travel 90km/h in real.

spotted silver v35 turning towards city @ cnr churchill av & ballarat rd this arvo shortly after 1pm... did u see me waiting at the lights opposite ur direction? -
question is, do all the people out there on the internet posting 'reviews' that it did not do any side effect to the engine, have been doing it long enough and keeping their car long enough to make sure it didn't actually kill your engine after perhaps 3 or 5 or 10 years??

does the tyre placard fitted with compliance listed 19" I checked mine and the tyre placard fitted includes 19" that's because 19" is available on V35 series 2, and basically the chassis of series 1 and series 2 are the same, so the 19" is permissible on any V35. providing the width is not of crazy sizes... but looking at the link posted by andy, looks like you gotta stick with 19x8", keeping the width always 8" -

yeah, if your number plate don't have those blue neons on them, your life would have been easier cos you won't be pulled over in the first place... now the copper decided to make your life more miserable, tough luck for you.... the only colours allowed by ADR and local state laws are amber, or white (for number plate, and reverse). brake light should be red, and turn indicator amber/orange... headlights must be amber or white... imagine the confusion if someone have their brake light green... wouldnt the car behind the slowing down car add more gas and ended up rear ending the car with green brake lights? -

that means any 2005+ V35 are also bad taste, because of the 19" factory rims... so as well V36 coupes SP with factory 19" rims... load of b/s really -

so and so are the R35 GTRs - now they've become a really example of extreme bad taste because they came with 20" from factory... ? -
Finally had a reply, the bolt hole would match the guitar. the the replacement tailpiece was made in Korea and was used in Epiphone factories there... I'm getting it as well with a replacement rosewood bridge. I think the previous owner had the current rosewood bridge notched too deep to mark the G string position, causing a little bit of fret buzz... and I don't want to raise the bridge as it will bring the action higher on the other strings as well with such a solid single piece bridge setup.
