  1. I had previously purchased a unit and sometimes the units are usually allocated a number of vehicles depending how many bedrooms they have (e.g 1 & 2BR = 1 car space, 3BR = 2 car spaces) etc. But I am not sure if you are renting whether there are allocated spaces.
  2. same state of mind of any car-illiterate bogans prior to Skyline ownership 10 years ago.
  3. well I had powerchip too in my old Mitsubishi Galant hatchback (SOHC) - which I think was a total waste of my money as I didn't get any noticeable performance increase out of it.
  4. looks like somebody was up to no good with your car. it looks like chips from the ECU? perhaps your car has been re-chipped (like powerchip). apart from what looks like a 'bonus' it actually could be a sign of caution as you don't know what air/fuel mixture was tuned in the re-chipped computer, and knowing that is in the car, you would guess that there is a chance that your (ab)used car's engine had been properly (ab)used by the previous owner on some hills or racetracks in Japan...
  5. Re: your last sentence - This has nothing to do with being an import car or not, the same thing can happen on locally delivered toyotas as well if all those problems existed on the car and dealer can't fixed it. Any 2nd hand cars regardless japanese, euro, aussie holden/ford, import, aust delivered have potential to inherit all the problems you mentioned above depending on your luck, it is not a correct assumption to assume that buying import is such a hassle. The main issue here is: Do you have in writing that the sale is SUBJECT to dealer being able to fix that problem prior to delivery of vehicle? This is usually very common where condition of sale is usually 'subject to finance approval' - however when the car has problems often people overlooked to have it in writing that problems such and such will be fixed by dealer, and if it's relying only on dealer's words then you've got no legal ground. If you have it in writing, then you are eligible to get a refund since it was not your fault (not because you changed mind), but because the dealer are unable to deliver the car with problems fixed as promised in writing.
  6. excellent... can't wait... I'll be away for a week but I'll be back 30th
  7. won't be in melb... cant make it
  8. Office 95 version attached Fuel_Consumption__2_.zip
  9. I think my driving is either quite aggressive or it's a whole load of batch fuel all over the west, or the traffic is just so bad in my area? Car is daily driven, traffic jam everyday (no freeway), just normal Ballarat Rd route to city with traffic lights. First fill I noted what fuel & where bought, then on 2nd fill (up to 1st click of the pump nozzle) I noted how many litres it was. Probably one day every fortnight there is a freeway trip involved. Here's the result. So far BP Ultimate leads just by marginal at 457km per tank. Feel free to use the Excel template for your own use. PS: The excel is created with Office 2007, so if you have an older version you may need to upgrade or let me know and I will try to save it in older version. Fuel_Consumption.zip

  12. If you're in CBD, there's a japanese restaurant in Melbourne Central on L2 or L3 where the cinemas are. to be honest, they're nothing special, just the experience looking at sushi being hauled on toytrains is kind of different, but after a while it's just sushi.
  13. can't make it. afterwork is pretty much the little bub's bath time.
  14. Make that two... I felt ripped off by the Moorabbin big wheel repair shop... $160 or $180 and 1 month later the wheel just peel off... I mean WTF...\\\ and here I am now still looking for a reliable wheel repair shop in the west or inner city .... as the wheel is on the car it's hard for me to find time to have the wheel off the car for a week or two...
  15. My, such intricate knowledge of such delicatessen You are indeed the 'siu loong bao' man!
  16. oh sorry... ha ha.... I think this is why Nelson wants some name tags... but I would still prefer some siu loong bao as an meetup snack...
  17. I told ya.... blue maxima........ actually it takes twice or triple as hard to spot a v sedan even if it's right under ur nose due to the resemblance
  18. second one for sure.... face it, Nelson, you're not getting any younger. Congrats millos... lots of hard work I tell you... you'll never be prepared enough till it hits you right in the face...
  19. I think this has been discussed that the r33 gtst has the wrong offset, but if u check 350z touring rotors they may have the right offset, so all needed is to machine it down from 296mm to 290mm like what u did on the r33 rotors.
  20. YEAH! Don't listen to Nelson... 4000K despite lower colour temp it actually outputs more Lumens (more lights). I would personally stay up to 6000K as the max (5000K if you can find it is probably the best) as from 6000K onwards it would start to look blue-ish then it will go purple and you actually start loosing illumination (becomes dimmer). I hate blue-ish looking headlights, those colours are best for riced up shitboxes with more rust holes in the exhaust than 'go'. always wondered what type of bulb they use for the long side... is it a customised illumination strip for V35?
  21. that's probably right, I found local 350Z battery too big for the v35 when I was hunting around for replacement last year.
  22. Renault Clio? Gosh, is all these problems caused when Renault bought Nissan and send Goshan in? Gosh...
