  1. ok as every ones being saying exhasut, CAI, cams,. ill give you my sotry. R31 skyline RB30E started with 70RWKW with only a 2.25' exhaust after nistune ecu, custom crow cam, exstractors, k&n pod. all tuned i had 118.6RWKW. cost of about $3500 due to getting some parts cheeper. www.nistune.com to find out more only cost $250
  2. ok i have the following 1991 R32 GTS25 Dr (RB25DE series 1) has amg 16" and a 2.5" exhasut. when i brougt it i was told it cant be regersted due to the eng (im going to use it primarly as a track car) but is there any way i can get it complianced so i can drive it on the road. as some of the events i would like to enter req the car be regersted. (dutton rally). could i poserbly put a RB20DET in or RB30DE brentt
  3. i would req bristone re001 adrenalens havnt tryed them but have being told by a few people that they are realy good. even the autosalon drit team use them. got quote $900 for 4 x 235/40 R17.
  4. the nismo (rays) lmgt4 come in 4 stud and many offset and size exspect to pay about 3k for a set of 17*8 X2 and 17*9X2

  8. ok guys as im about to start my build for my race car, i was going to get rid of the RB20DET box i have at home (6000km since rebuilt) and maby use a RB25 or getrag box with a ppg strnthed gear set. then i saw this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ge...99#entry4209999 and thought maby just keep the Rb20 box and throw one of these in. the eng will most likly be a RB34DE (when spoolimports finish the 3.4L crank) and will be in a R32 GTS 4dr. i plan to enter circute type races. brentt
  9. no mate as the tail lights are diffrent from a coupe to sedan. you can even modify the rear end to fit coup lights, i was hopeing to. just get the parts you need for the car you got easyest way.
  10. probly also to camshaft profile and 4 valves per cyl in sted of two may have a affect
  11. i wonder how long we have to wait. well at least i havn't started on the race car eng yet. RB34DE . camshaft profile will be intresting to considering the diffrent displacement.
  12. ok read this post with intrest as i have a R32 GTS25 with a early (1989) RB25DE. butmy question is why does the 25 have this plenum on the intake and a RB30E does not.
  13. ok were to start. i owned a R31 skyline for 4 year and got rid of her 4 months ago. it was about a mounth after she had gone and i hadn't driven that it started. i wrecked her to pay of a loan and buy my project car a 4dr R32. i then decided i was going to buy my dads camery. how ever one day as i was sitting in the 32 and i saw a 33 at a servo i decided to buy another 32 as a daily this how ever did not happen and i now have a 03 camery sportivo auto 4cy. there are days when i've seen other car even a stock r33 at the servo and thought dam mate ill swap you the camery for the skyline. i love jumping in to the 32 with it's m-spec seats which hug you and you feel like you belong there, were as in the camery it fiels like space and handles like $#%^. so im going to wait two years get the project under way and pay of the camery and buy a GTR.

  16. mate this happend in melb and one guy was quoted as saying the herald sun that he saved $50 on fuel (so i would say he haves a 70L tank) most likly a ford. but a saveing of $40 to $50 dollers on this was the average depending on the car and fuel req.

    what year is the rb20 gearbox? unknown Who rebuilt it? a frum member from r31 skyline club http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?topic=82129.0 this is the link to were i got it from you wont to contact stephen i brought it of him. What was replaced? some sincros and bearings from meory you can ask the guy who rebuilt it Reason for sale? im building a time attack car so i req a GTR geat box for a ppg dog bog What car was it in for the 6000km? R31 skyline How was it treated in the 6000km? daily driven did get a few hard lurnches didn't get on the track with it. max lurch was 5000rpm. other wise think old man driveing. ill vouch for the condition of the box as when i first got in it from haveing it installed the gear shift was very soild. untill it lossed up aliitle bit to come normal what you would exspect from a rebuilt box. brentt

    I got a R32 manual gear box 6000km since rebuilt and a PBR heavy duty clutch also 6000km old and nismo gear knob leather. after $600 for it all can also throw in the manual tail shaft for R31 owners and this fit straight up. it's located in the northen suburbs of melb and has to go as i leave for darwin in 3 weeks. either pm me or call 0411895116 brentt
  20. dane you still need the exhaust. i could sell you mine it's from a 4 dr however it's got a rb25de so i think its 2.5" but has two mufflers and hot dog but sounds awsome and i a jap exhaust pm me if intrested. brentt

  23. ok i dont know much about the new p-plater rules due to being of my p's. but from what i would req. nistune ecu (if they have one for a r34 gt) it's a reprogamable bord that sits in side your ecu and alows for full tunning. www.nistune.com cost is $250 for the bord in stalled and then get it tuned. get some adj cam gears. k&n pannel filter and maby change the intake pipeing for something of a bigger size. and if you can get away with and exhasut and exstractors do it and a cam thats not real lumpy or try and keep the exhasut realy quite. thats my req brentt
  24. ok what engine would you build for super lap RB30DE n/a screamer RB30DETT monstor im going to be building up a r32 GTS for most likly super lap or maby improved production. if i go improved production ill stay n/a if i go super lap i'll go turbo. just wondering what you guys and girls think. brentt
  25. come on there is nuthing wrong with the r31 and they are easy to get power out of and there are some great examples going around. ill put it this way stock apx 70rwkw yea not much. add a stage 3 cam (got to love the bump at idel ) k&n pod with decent CAI. decent set of exstractors 2.5" exhasut nistune computer and keep it running nice and you could be looking around the 120rwkw mark thats what i had. spent $350 exhaust (i had a 2.25" staright through) $150 for exstractors (second hand) $50 for pod set up. (got the pod filter for free) nistune computer ($250 for the program bord and $200 for the sofwear to tune it your self or apx $300 for a tuner to do it.) stage 3 cam $350 + $550 for new lifters so apx $2200 for something close to 120rwkw should do about a low 14 sec 1/4 mile pass
