16x7 4 Multi-stud Rims For Sale, Canberra
Factory 5 replied to Factory 5's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
Jus t so I stop getting emails about these rims They have been sold. Like months ago. no idea what the offset was, and they needed 10mm spacers on the front so the 225 wide tread would not rub the spring seat. -
Of Possible Interest To Dr30 Owners
Factory 5 replied to sobeksminion's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
I'd pay good money for the rear 'over diff' section. spending more than that $300 to get the existing setup re-jigged and altered. If there was an off the shelf option at the time I would of definitly gone with it. Pity its not local, shipping is always a killer..... -
Forwarding on some info on this: Is a Oz delivered KMGC210 has L26 S.U. Carbie, suck through for turbo, manifold & turbo in the boot. Yellow in colour, beige velour interior, GL model 51,800km (wow) multi-spoked alloys (sound similar to the R30 Ti rims)

Putting R31 Front Brakes Onto R30
Factory 5 replied to MrBFrederick's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
Recently on the R31 foum they have been useing a VT commodore pad, bendix ultimate (with a 5 mm tab trimmed off Seems to be some good results. Might look at it as a budget option -
What about just finding out what connectors are broken and compiling a list, then take it to a nissan dealership or wrecker or donor car. replacing connectors is hell cheaper than the whole loom also is there a specific loom section that is really bad? many ecu manufacturers can supply a 'raw' loom for around the $400 mark, you just need all the connectors and lots of protective tubes/heatshrink/lekkie tape Ive built about 10 wiring looms in the last few years, very time consuming. If you can narrow it down to a certain area on teh car I may be able to help moar?

Smiles from this end Might bring along a C210 next time -
In my bog-stock L24e auto, I scored 53kW at the wheels, so it you top this with your exhaust and manual trans, let me know!!! at for redline, I wrecked another R30 a few months ago, kept all the goodies. But before that i too wondered what the redline was... so I spent the next 40 minutes bouncing off 7000 rpm and doing HARD shifts, generally TRYING to break it. damn thing just kept going... I ended up running out of fuel. Pulled it all apart over the next 6 months and the insides were fine, still had the factory honing marks in the cylinders, even had factory head gasket! bloody tough buggers. a few minutes on the dyno wont hurt it! just keep your tyre pressures up, and clean fresh air coming in the intake.

Skyline Nationals 2010 Classic Attenders
Factory 5 replied to Factory 5's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
Thanks to Caz and the team, well done. Much enjoyed. Will see if I can help out (if its wanted) for the next round here in Goulburn (Im in Canberra so its only 50 min away) Looks like there will be some serious competition in the next show & shine! Before you know it, there will end up with a 4 door versus 2 door in each DR/MR/HR30 category lol.... cant keep everyone happy, but thats the risk when you go out to do something enjoyable for a majority of enthusiasts. -
I did want to go megasquirt, but the lack of actual workshop support put me off. The wolf is suppored by quite a few workshops. the one I got is the V4x, heaps of features...

send me an email marc.... those struts sound good. -
Scorcher in melbourne can buld a custom dissy, basically grafting the RB30e dissy onto the L series shaft and mounts. perfect. other solution is to source a L28et dissy, which has the optical chopper wheel CAS in it. prety much he same thingas the RB but half the price. I got one here, but Im not letting go for any less than $300. I didhave a RB30e ecu running my practice L24e but it would only just idle. i didnt put too much effort into it as I got a Wolf 3d

I reckon a cruise will be nice, but knowing what the SA R31 kids are like, methinks I will be sticking around with a few of the R30 owners for a foto shoot -
In preparation for the Nationals, I thought to strike a few tasks off the list.... still N/A at the momnt, didnt have time to boost it due to the good metal fab guys here in Canberra all booked out for the next 3 weeks. So I have the "TURBO' cam cover on, will have to coverup the 'turbo' word for the minute. Pics to follow...

Wolf 3d V4 With Hand Controller
Factory 5 replied to itshimdazza's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
You can get it tuned to suit a Rb20 yes. Wont be a straight plug & play, but well worth the $$$. You can contave Steve at AEM and he will be able to sort out a RB20det tune for you, $60 or something like that. Very capable ECU -

Wtd: R30 Ti Alloy Wheel X1
Factory 5 replied to works 510's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
I have sold a few rally shops and other enthusiasts over 16 of them over the last 4 years, normally the base proce is $50 per rim. If they are mint, maybe $60 so $200 for x4 $250 for x5 They arent worth a heap, just getting hard to find. -

Ive decided to keep the go-fast bits for the long weekend we have coming up.... So im going for the growly N/A option. Still to decide on what to do with the exhaust though. The turbo exhaust setup (which will likely be a bit too loud for N/A): 3 inch stainless from exh manifold to the 'cat' 'cat' is now a 3 inch I.D. (4" O,D,) stainless hot-dog, about 40/50cm long then to a 2.75 inch mandrel section from the 'cat' to over-the-diff, to a 2.5 inch inlet oval muffler with dual 2.5 tips Still contemplating chucking in another muffler in the 3 inch front pipe versus a 2.25 mild steel jobbie from the local workshop (at a cost though...) in which I will be chucking in a few months for the turbo setup.... although i could re-sell it to another member>>>>????
