  1. good luck with the conversion josh! ive driven a non-power steer R30 with a RB30 in it... was ok in a straight line... but it was a BITCH in corners and parking, getting onto a trailer etc. i suggetst goeetin some custom lines made by ENZED or similar... its well worth it. cheers, Andrew

  4. i know of a few here in VIC BUT its 400km into the hills from melbourne (Wannon) i am going out there later on this year prob. october (its an 800km round trip...) i also have a mate driving to sydney in november, so he prob can bring it up to syd for you there is also a 240k at my wreckers, are they similar???

CONGRATUFKENLATIONS!!! ya beat me! hey be really carefull running the stock ecu (& dist?), it youre useing the L24e dist make sure you lock it so it doesnt up the timing as the revs go up, or you will run lean as f*k then... BOOM! cant wait to see your pics, you got one of the neatest engine bays, should look good turboed up! AND how does it go? what revs do you have boost come in! oh cmon more info mate! im just waiting for some brake parts and injectors and a working ECU.... might come over for a 'visit' when its done!

  9. yeah im after some stockish, non-sporty looking rims so that i can get my good R30 Ti 15" fixed up (cleaned balanced , gutter rash removal etc) plus i want to have a sleeper look every now and then... i was thinking of getting some skyline stockies from the wrecker for $10 each, then getting some 14" dress trim pressed on... would look alright to me! since these C210 rims already have the chrome trim i thought it might be cheaper! (plus i have transport from sydney) i also have 3 sets of 2x tyres, so i can put a pair on the rims that have low tread.... on the other hand the wife will kill me if i buy more wheels/car parts! i already have 2 RMR0 Ti's in the driveway, plus my U12 Pintara Ti, and a set of U12 TRX rims, U12 Ti rims, (none fit on the rear due to calipers...)a L20et block& gearbox on a pallet, a few piles of exhaust and mufflers, aboud 4 random tyres, 2 stock steelie rims plus a tool shed FUL of crap... shit the list goes on! i will discuss later on with the missus...

  11. Any idea if these will fit an R30 anyone? i have standard disks front and rear if that makes any difference! would be good for 'sleeper' spec weekends! (plus baby seat in back, save the whales stickers, lambswool seat covers etc)
  12. definitly join up with the R31 boys, get some pics up and ask all the questiond you like. import R31's are like precious jewels over there! you'll get stacks of help, ideas and suggestions, as well as plenty of parts in the classifieds
  13. i have a spare N47 in good condition, which is almost the same to a N42 but it has smaller exhaust valves, and high quench desgin lus a few other lil things. N47 doesnt flow as well as a N42, but N42 is getting harder to find, around $200(for the head) plus deckin/checking from a rally shop

  15. well.... i must be looking for the wrong thing, for about the last 10 months! fark im just gonna take it to NISSCO and get them to make me a list, and a quote to get it done, the steering basically needs all bushes replaced, tie rod ends (boots split/missing) ball joints etc... this is so rediculous i bought this car late last year, still not friken regoed yet... i just want to drive it!

Thanks for the fuel pump info.... what i dont understand is if i upgrade to a bigger pump, and hook it up as you described without the modulator, wont it just be running on 12 volts constantly? is that going to put strain on everything when its idleing? or should i have a 2nd relay setup to reduce the voltage (and pressure) when my foot is off the pedal? i thinking it might be easier to go to a specialist... unless you can privide a bit more info! AND where can you get new LCA's for $50 each! can you get an idea of how much postage will be to Melbourne? (the rally shop seemed to think the pressed in ball joints will hold well, maybe they were after my ca$h!) regards, Andrew
  21. stock standard R31 springs will fit in the rears, plus lower about 3 cm max.

OK things are starting to come along, i have a roadworthy exhaust, plus NISSCO said they can press new ball joints into my existing control arms etc. fo r a reasonable price...plus they have a few other steering mods they like to do on R30's (bracing the steering box to stop firewall flex??) now im going over the HR30 loom i have (came with the L20et package) there seems to be something missing! does anyone know much about the " FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE" as i dont have one! it is meant to have 4 wires... as seen in the attatched pics any suggestiond on WTF im gonna do??
