(modded gtrs, s13s, gtsts, etc) so I guess I don't feel the pain of these kiddies being locked down away from turbos.. that said judging from these past posts its probrably a good thing lol

Get a manual R32 or R33 GTS25 and learn how to drive a bit first..... just instead of spending big coin modifying the NA car, save your money, then when the P's period is over sell the NA and buy a turbo car.

WTF? Lay off the crack pipe. WRX is a 4cyl, obviously it's going to need a few more pounds of boost to output similar power to a larger 6cyl donk as found in the GT-T.

Can't see how there'd be a problem getting a blue slip for that, should be sweet mate as long as your mechanic isn't an asshole. I wouldn't be too worried, could have been worse. At least they didn't give you any EPA or Noise related hassles. Worst case scenario just bolt up a standard cooler, if you don't have one handy I'm sure there's plentyof people on here willing to lend you one. But from what I can see, it's a bullshit defect anyway, and you shouldn't need to change anything for a mechanic to pass it. I very much doubt they'd see that as defective or unsafe.

Keeping it Red would give you the least hassles as I know for a fact Red lights on the rear of the vehicle are completely legal (as long as they don't exceed a certain wattage). As long as you don't make it blindingly bright I'd say you won't have any hassles with the cops.
