Not always. I got a fine for a red light (which I never went through) from this fat troll cop not too long ago, they said "your fine will be in the mail" and guess what, it was. Assholes..

  8. Speaking of instant ramen.. where can I get a box of decent instant ramen in Syd?
  9. I did see that thing at the dealer in question about a month back.. I thought to myself "what a shitter" when looking at it - the headlights are faded as hell and overall it looks very rough.. i can't believe theyre trying to pass it off as a low km example
  10. Most new cars have recalls. The new Commodore is pretty good for an Aussie car. I'm not a Holden junkie but I'm certainly not going to label it a shitbox because it's had two minor recalls.
  11. You should be able to insure it for Agreed Value, or Market Value. Your premium will reflect upon this value. What you paid for it shouldn't mean jack f**king shit if you're paying to insure it for an agreed value. Try another insurance company if they want to dick you around. Shannons, Famous Car Insurance, etc - all better than JCI.
  12. Oooh goodness I'm gonna need a towel
  13. Needs more pics of hot schoolgirls
  14. DON'T be tempted by second hand coil overs. I've been bitten before myself. If you're going to bother spending money at all, do it right the first time. Worst case scenario, grab a set of decent shocks and some lowered springs. I bought KYB sports shocks and Lovells springs for my old car and it cost me about $650. There's many options if you save up about $1k.. don't be too disheartened, at least if you fix it properly this time you won't have to worry about it again.

  16. mmmmm..... Ramen FTW
  17. I sure felt it from the passenger seat, but don't worry, he's done worse.. there was a scene in Parramatta once which was like the hill scenes in fast & the furious hahaha
  18. If you see the right person, suspension costs SFA to fit. I got my mechanic to fit 4 new struts on my car for $150. (labour cost obviously)
  19. I'm a fan of the black centre chrome dish look - there's a fair few different ones on tempetyres.com.au and ozzytyres.com.au If you're not driving hard 24/7 and not planning on trash thrashing then I wouldn't be worried about getting quality jap rims...
  20. Something will break eventually with a T04 on a stocko 20B Get some nice big porting and some tougher seals put in, and some extra dowelling and up the booooooost P.S. Autos are for poofs
  21. What you getting done internal wise? What kinda porting, what seals, dowelling, etc?
  22. 300's are getting a bit old now and as mentioned in other posts, the engine is a nightmare to work on. Being an older car, there will be SOMETHING that will need replacing/maintenance in the engine bay and it's going to give you headaches. Depending on your budget, I think the later the model of car you can buy the better. I don't like R33's much myself but if you could pick up an N/A series 2 R33 it would be your best bet. The later the model the better. Second choice would be an R32 GTS25 (RB25DE) but once again they're getting a bit old so be prepared to fix a few things. Plus side is theyre usually easy as pie to work on, so it wont cost you as much.
  23. saw something similar the other week on george st in the city.. somebody had thrown a bottle or something through the back windscreen of an accord euro.. bastards
