Take a spare hose and some tools and enjoy Wakefield

Morgs I hear you sold it and its in brisbane now??

If they installed the pump and it was straight up faulty or they hadn't installed it correctly then you shouldn't have to pay the price for them to find the fault. I'd ask them in a nice tone if they're willing to fix it as the problem is their fault. Hopefully if you're reasonable with them, they're reasonable with you and fix the fault for you. They're human after all, these things do happen. If they are indeed reasonable people and care about their customers they should correct their faulty install for you.

I hate idiots who tailgate me when I'm already speeding or whatnot. If I was going 20kmh under the speed limit in the right lane then fair enough, but otherwise its uncalled for.
-
Let it go, theyre probrably idiots but I know that if anyone "brake tests" me I make their life hell. If you make a big deal out of it they will probrably start making your life hell for an extended period of time.. especially now they know your car and where you live. It's not a generally good idea to do it, I'm guilty of it on a few occasions to a few wankers but that's only because I couldn't give a shit if my car got burnt down overnight

ROBBED!! Is it just me or do the refs in the world cup really eat dick? Some really appauling decisions in many games so far.

There's gotta be a compromise somewhere, but to be honest I think having a big trading section is awesome as long as its organised in a logical way. I enjoy browsing NS.com because of the wide range of stuff available from all the sponsors. That's my personal opionion anyhow. Perhaps there could be a public vote on it, but it's food for thought. In any case, I think that the main issue is that you should respond to the people who enquire about becoming a trader - even if it is to tell them "sorry we're full up." It's a little rude to keep people out in the cold and to keep shoving them around, you should at least have the courtesy to give them a straight answer when they do ask.
-
Fair enough. Sounds like it does need to be streamlined further. Perhaps 1-2 Moderators who handle the enquiries and any questions (and can manage to respond to them in a timely fashion) as well as taking the new applicants details, and then the final application should be put through to Prank by the moderator(s) for administration approval as he is the 'final word'. I do think the choice to not answer any PM's is a bit slack on Christian's part but at the end of the day it is his choice. To help combat the problem with there being so many for sale threads, as suggested in the other thread multiple times by myself, I think there needs to be further division of the trading section. Business Traders should definately have their own section and not be allowed to post in the same areas as the personal traders. Perhaps the long-standing SAU sponsors are the ones who should have their own main forum category under the Classifieds section, with the smaller sponsors having either a sub-forum or a shared forum depending upon level of sponsorship.

Lots of mistakes and silly wanky crap in the movie, but I gotta say I did enjoy watching it. I laughed the whole way, very entertaining. Vin Diesel in the end was a nice touch too.

I had those mirrors on my FC RX-7 Ronin, theyre pretty sleek looking on the right car. Anyhow, AzzurA, if you care about quality I'd stay away from the eBay items as there's a 99% chance they will be nasty. Perhaps you are better off trying to get hold of a set of second hand genuine Ganadors because as Beer Barron mentioned they are of WAY better quality, they fit properly and you don't have to mess up your wiring. I ended up picking up a used set of genuine mirrors for my car for only $150 a while back.

Website Ideas and Feature Requests

Hey, I'd like to re-suggest further division of the For Sale section as it takes an extreme amount of navigation and time to find what's what. There are so many items for sale on a daily basis I think that things should be divided further. Ie: there should DEFINATELY be a "Wheels & Tyres" section on it's own. Other categories suggested may be; R31 and older specific Parts - R32 specific Parts - R33 specific Parts - R34 Specific Parts - Other Specific Parts - All Vehicles Electronics & Car Audio Even if threads are posted twice, it would make it alot easier to say; eg, bob with an R32 wants to look for bits to suit his car, so he browses the R32 area. From looking through the sales section on a daily basis I can see there are more than enough threads to warrant at least some devision into popular categories. Would make it easier for everyone.. I know personally if I'm looking for R32 bits I find it a pain in the butt to sift through a billion R33 parts for sale as well.... -
That's interesting. I had a mate who visits that site regularly tell me he was experiencing a recurring spyware issue even though he had visited no sites other than regular automotive forums. Seems like NS.com was the culprit. Is it fixed yet? I'm not game to visit it 'til I know the coast is clear....

Wow.. interesting read. What IS it that takes so long for you to get back to people who are willing to help the forums & community out? I mean, it's win win for everyone at SAU when you think about it 1) Sponsors deliver excellent prices to members, and save them money and hassle 2) Helps pay the SAU bills 3) Trader makes a bit of money enabling them to expand their business, and hopefully the range of great products available to SAU members. Not having a dig, but honestly, what IS it that takes you guys months on end to approve somebody as a trader? Especially in the case when they are extremely prompt in exhausting all methods possible of contacting the appropriate person(s)? It does seem, the mods have plenty of time to do the negative work (Deleting posts, etc) but not enough time to do the positive. If this is the case, perhaps you need to re-think the trader approval system because it seems from reading this that the SAU members are missing out on getting some great traders on board. Food for thought.

Personally I would go PFC as I've seen first hand good results from a GOOD tune on a engine with mods similar to yours.

There was a track in mount druitt?? where??
-
Might think about one of these as a project myself shortly. The only thing I wouldn't want to lose is the ability to just chuck a CD or DVD in when needed, because often friends will have a new CD or DVD to watch or listen to, so I wouldn't want to lose that functionality. Finding a place to flush mount a slimline DVD-ROM is the interesting part though..

Just been looking up some old school pics of that track. Looks like it would have been a whole lot of (dangerous) fun back in its day.

Just because Martin Donnon faked some dyno charts doesn't mean its gospel. Get your head out of your ass you knob. -
Ahh these things happen. It's like that alot with cars with fiddly bits I've found, even though it's the exact part your car needs it doesn't always fit back properly as it should. Usually takes a bit of improvisation to get things perfect
-
This is crazy. This is the reason why I don't want to buy a Skyline any more, there's just too many thefts happening Best wishes for the cars safe return mate.
-
Yeah I'd think it's not really anything to worry about.. turbos on their way out usually do something more drastic than make a slight whistle at lowish throttle....
-
I'd be interested to know how much the standard auto can handle before going pop... Think everyone modifying Aristo's is going to find this will be trial and error.
-
Yeah I had a FC, I sold it about 12 months ago. I'm currently shopping for an Aristo as a project car....

Hmm interesting... I know you need a custom tail shaft for it, but what else remainds a mystery. When I google it shows up threads from the AU Lexus forums but they appear to be down, damn it
