I've driven both..... R32 GT-R is a completely different animal. A regular WRX is extremely disappointing when compared to a R32 GT-R in my personal opinion, i much preferred the R32 in every way. STi's are very nice, I do like them, however once again they feel alot different to an R32. They may both be 4wd, but that's about where the similarities end. At the end of the day it comes down to user preference really.... go drive both and decide for yourself

Any form of white light be it HID or whatever is shit in the rain.. I had MTEC's in my car for a while, great in the dry but in the wet quite dangerous. Same with the HID's in my dad's accord euro, great in the dry, wet theyre crap. I went back to my standard globes, although I do miss the white look :\

Price sounds about right assuming it doesn't come with rego - if that price does include rego it seems a little cheap. R32's are one of those cars where the condition affects the value greatly. There's lots of average condition ones getting around cheap enough, but the ones in excellent condition still go for good coin. Most R32 GTS-t's in NSW including rego usually sell for between $10k and $15k from what I've noticed.

From what I've seen his tunes are pretty awesome. Brad (blk180) had his engine built and tuned there and it runs absolutely perfect. Knock levels are basically non existent, power curve beautiful, etc etc.

The Porsche is getting old, looks outdated, and things WILL break, and when they do it's going to cost you a fortune. If you've got a large enough wallet to accept this, then it's all good. But to be honest, all these opinions should be taken as a grain of salt - go and drive a few different things in your price range (Boxter included) and decide what's going to make you happiest.
