For sure just go with an off the shelf kit for your car, JustJap and CRD have some good ones really cheap. Something around 600x300x75 would probably be what you want, not overly huge but gives you a bit of room to move if you upgrade the snail later. Not a fan of Microtec myself, and I ran a Wolf3D V4 in my rotary - wasn't impressed. If you don't want to spend a fortune, I'd recommend going for an Apexi Power FC, however be quick as Apexi just went broke so they will probably be thin on the ground in no time.

The storyline could be so much better, it feels so half assed and all over the place, it doesn't flow well... I'll keep watching anyway but I'm not impressed - it had potential to be a much better series than it was.....

Yeah, they're a very functional little car. Due to the fact they're so ugly on the outside, I wasn't even going to look at them in the first place, but a friend had hired one recently and told me that they're definitely worth looking at. So I went to Nissan, and after a proper look inside out I was sold. Wayyyyyyyy better value than the 3/Focus I was also considering. As for the revs holding for so long -- I think it's actually also to do with the electronic throttle - it takes quite a bit of getting used to and to be honest I'm not a big fan but you eventually don't pay attention to it. They don't have much balls compared to a performance car but I think they go pretty damn well for what they are, I can have 4 adults in the car comfortably, air con on, and don't have to give it a hiding to get anywhere.. close ratio box ftw!
