  1. It's difficult to get wheels with GT-R offset to look right on a GT-T/GTS-T, imo they still look wrong even if you roll the guards, they still look like they stick out too far. You're not going to get them flared by 18mm without it screwing something..... Just buy wheels with the correct offset.
  2. I have the Jaycar 4x130 Lots of power but the sound quality sucks nuts compared to my Kicker amps. I am selling the Jaycar soon and getting a larger Kicker to replace it as my front splits sound like ass running off the Jaycar.
  3. Beware! The above pic COULD be airbrushed to hide her adam's apple
  4. Baron just get Photoshop to make an automated gallery, it'll resize all the pics make thumbnails and pages for you then all you need to do is upload to your webspace.... just uh.. take out the nudie pics beforehand
  5. Should up it to a case of Asahi!
  6. Could always try somewhere like JustJap I think they usually have alot of stockers in stock but expect to pay decent coin for them.
  7. Give J-Spec a call on the number listed above - Personal Import is your best way to do things by far.
  8. Am I seeing things or is that an RB26 VN?!
  9. The V35's are a different class of car to it's predecessors. They may still share the Skyline name, but where as the previous series skyines were turbo animals with a roaring straight 6, overall the V35 is more refined and more of a larger sports touring cruiser type car. The engine being of larger capacity is torquey and smooth, and the car overall is quite large and solid. IMO they're really nice, but, like I've said they're in a different class compared to the older model Skylines. It comes down to what you want out of a car, and how much you're willing to spend on it.
  10. I'm really loving the body + wheel colour combo on that ceffy, looks tops
  11. Possibly due to P Plater restrictions I'm guessing.. Good to see you got stuck into giving it a go for yourself, just make sure everythings hooked back up properly! What happened to cause the damage to the old engine?
  12. Nothing pisses me off more than Taxi drivers who just stop dead in their tracks and think it's OK because they put their hazard lights on! Pricks! I know it's their job and all but they could go about things in a less dangerous way...
  13. Come say it to my face. Don't be repeating jokes which are nothing to do with you in the first place. And sorry Mona, I don't think I'll be able to make it, if I don't end up coming I'll give you a hug & kiss some other time.

    Going To Japan

I suggest you go buy a Lonely Planet book; either the Japan book or the Tokyo city guide as it answers most of your questions.. (except the car ones).. and take a quick browse through the older threads here as this questions been asked many times.....
  15. Well there ya go. It's perhaps a good idea to give people that hand over money your phone number so that they can contact you by other means than the internet. If you don't like giving your personal mobile out for business transactions perhaps it is advisable to purchase a cheapo pre-paid phone for $50 or something so that you can be contacted at some point by your customers. It will save these situations arising in future and keep everybody happy because your customers can contact you and you don't have to worry about typing up pm's to answer a simple 30 second question to a customer.
  16. If he's tied up, whatever, fair enough, THIS DOES NOT EXCUSE the fact that he is ignoring his customers and making them feel like they are being left out of the process. Paying customers deserve answers REGARDLESS of how tied up you are. If you cannot handle having to answer to PAYING customers then you should not be going business in the first place. SydneyKid - Great bloke: Sure, Helpful: Always ----- So why can't he just give these guys a contact number of give them some answers as to what's happening with their engines that they PAID for?! Advice on internet forums and running a business are two entirely separate things!
  17. noticed haysey's car in there
  18. 9 week old pussy?! jailbait right there!!
  19. I recently purchased a HKS S15 and Apexi FD RX7 (both 1:24 scale) from Hobbyco here in Sydney.. edit: here's a quick crappy pic from a while ago of them... it's a bit overexposed i'll take proper pics when i can be bothered
  20. 02 9771 3068 is their number listed in all directory services here in AU. So it should be +612 97713068 for overseas callers -- the same as you've listed it
  21. From memory the only thing that should be embossed/engraved in the chassis metal is the chassis number not the actual vin number. The vin number should be given on the compliance plate. I might be wrong but I thought that alot of the older imports don't have vins embossed in the chassis metal... I'd say you've got an extremely low chance of purchasing a rebirthed skyline unless its painted pink/purple/yellow and has big chrome wheels on it.....
  22. Chris before you run your mouth off like an idiot how about you pay attention to the rest of the thread. These guys aren't running their mouths off for no reason, they're not even slagging SydneyKid. The only people doing any slagging here are idiots like yourself. Don't turn this thread into a flame war. SydneyKid isn't just doing them a "favour", he's not building these engines for free, the customers complaining here have paid good money almost 12 months ago for their engines. They held up their end of the bargain and they're a little upset because they are unable to get refunds and they still don't have their engines either. It's not like it's a small item bought from a local shop they can't just walk down and get their money back because they're not happy. Settle down and be quiet if you've got nothing better to do than call people whinging poms.
  23. EVO 3/4/5 will sell better than an NSX. NSX market is small. Evo market over here at the moment is huge, Evo 7/8/9 everywhere. The only reason there aren't more 3/4/5 evo's around is because they're rare as hens teeth - they are very desirable and if you brought one over it would most likely sell for a good price.
  24. Welcome back to the real world!! hahaha mmmm cold weather that's what I like to hear. I'm gonna be doing alotta walking since I'll be a public transport slave, so cold weather is good. Bugger walking in summer heat!
