  1. WOW what a nice car with well thought out mods good luck with the sale.If this was still around in 6 months time I would be very keen
  2. Where is your location?
  3. If you searh around on the forum you should pick up a set of 32 GTS type M 4 spots pretty cheap if your concerned about the brake lines buy them as well, drill the rotors to 4 stud and presto cheap and easy conversion.Just remember if you do have bango fitting and bolt for the brake line remember that the surface is clean and flat where it bolts onto the caliper. Cheers
  4. Mate I did a R32GTS-t brake conversion onto a 180sx (4 stud) so there is no reason you can't put the 32 GTS-t brakes onto your car just re-drill to 4 stud the calibers should bolt straight on.It should be very easy to do,I don't know what brake lines you have bango with a bolt or a pipe but on the 180 conversion it had a bango fitting n bolt which the bolt had to be cut down by 3mm and all fits.I have only changed the front so I don't know about the rear, good luck with it
  5. Hi mate what SK said is very very important that to hard a spring rate will skip over the bumps istead of soaking them up,I had jap coil overs 8kg f / 6kg r on a 32 gts and guess what not only was the car SLOWER it was DANGEROUS to drive I couldn't wait to get rid of them. You asked me what size sway bars I had they are from the group buy 24mm f / 22mm r and adjustable.I went trough pretty much the same path as you, and with a lot of wasted money and time spent in the shed changing parts and testing have come to the conclusion a lot of produsts look shiny and promess the world they simply don't deliver.I ended up with most of the parts from SK groub buy and I'm very happy with how it handles. My car on the race track can keep up with some other vehicles that have 120kw + more power With all the fancy gear fitted.Suspension is by far the most important thing 2nd tyres get it right and you dont need a highly powerful car!
  6. Look at it this way what did your engine cost to build? Don't mean to be smart but a few extra dollars today can save you BIG dollars down the track lets face it do it once and do it right. An example for you on the week end my mates highly tuned GTR 30/26 combo was loseing oil preasure when turning around courners even with a sump baffle I guess it wasn't a top of the line model one. With a engine with well known oil problems its well worth a over kill in this area. At the end of the day you want many years of trouble free driving, good luck with it
  7. Try Dr Drift he is awesome does a good job.Ive seen some very potent cars leave his workshop with happy customers.I drove all the way from Syd to Melb to get him to tune my car and very happy with the result and not only the tune the after sales support.
  8. Hi m8 I can give you some feed back on my experience.I got whiteline ajustable sway bars front and rear great upgrade highly recommend. Whiteline front camber kit Im not so keen on these but they seem to work ok,the Noltec camber kits look a lot better option easy to adjust and more sturdy.Strut braces I think they look the part but perfromance wise better off spending money else where I think.Best to buy the best adj caster rods you can afford they make a huge difference.Good luck with it
  9. Project U rotors are replacement rotors based on std sizes unless its a complete replacement upgrade. The min thickness should be stamped on rotor. As someone mentioned the only difference between R33 Gts and R32 GTR is 2mm difference in thickness still the same 296mm in dia,so if it turns out you only have R32 Gts brakes and wish to go bigger the R33 are also a cheap upgrade option
  10. I upgraded my sway bars as well and with this mod alone I gained 3 seconds of my lap times
  11. Hi m8 I got a remap from Dr Drift I drove all the way from Syd to Melb to get it done he is really that good.Im a mechanic buy trade and he would be 1 of the very few I would let touch my car. From memory it cost me around the $600 dollar mark for a remap and dail in the cam gears. The car is so much better buy far the best thing I have done to my car,its so much easier to drive on the trottle both on the track and highway and I slashed my lap times by just under 1.5 seconds Cheers
  12. Hi battery the easiest way to check if you have R33 brakes on your car is to measure the dia of the rotor and the thickness the difference between the two are R32 280 X 30 R33 296 X 30 I got my bendix ultimate through just jap there about $100 per set
  13. I upgraded to R32 GTR items on the front on my Gts everything bolts straight in the only drama I had was the Nissan logo on the caliper was about 2mm clearance from my Gts rims so what I did was file and grind the logo away and hi-temp paint them. The rear brakes on the 32 Gts are the same as a GTR so no need to upgrade them. I did notice a big difference on the track no fade at all so its a good budget upgrade but the 33 GTR brembos would be far better again all depends on your budget. Cheers
  14. Yes it can be done you must use RB26 Crank / Rods / Pistons and its a bolt in affair. Have a look at Japenese Import Spares they have complete stroked motor, turbo and everything ready to go might save you a lot of heart ache and pain going through the whole process yourself. You must remember to build something like that won't be cheap! Cheers
  15. Sorry I should of said that it has 3 bolt where the elbow bolts on and there isn't a nipple on the compressor housing where the autuator hose goes but are there any other difference to comfirm that I have bought the real thing? I just need to confirm because it didn't come with the elbow and have to order one and if I don't have a RB25 turbo I have wasted more money buying a elbow for the wrong turbo just want to confirm first. Cheers
  16. As the topic says I have purchased a RB25 turbo well so the guy says how can I tell? Any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers

  18. From my experience the roads in melb are way better than nsw,and don't think that stiff suspension will handle better it couldn't be further from the truth.I had coil overs fitted to my car I found them to hard, didn't have enough travel, skipped over the bumps instead of obsorbing them and over all dangerous not only that I found on the road that I normally do all my testing it was slower. Now its a different story if the car is intented for the track, a lot of people think a set of coil overs fitted and the car will handle like a dream sorry to say but it is an overall package.
  19. Mate I would upgrade to adjustable swaybars first then test that for a while in reguards to body roll. When the japs design coil overs they don't take into account the fact that std swaybars are way undersized there for they use heavy duty springs in there coil overs to counter act it.Try some whiteline adjustable swaybars it gives a tremondous increase for such little money. Why not try the R32gts group buy in this forum honestly I would not recommend coil overs unless you use it on the track people think that a suspension has to be stiff to perform that is not true. Some food for thought good luck
