  1. Yep it's the garage door behind the garage in front. Park where you can find space.
  2. Well Donnon's enjoying the world of bikes now so it's fitting someone else enjoy's the world of skylines. Welcome.
  3. I bit the bullet and purchased a sound meter. Happy to test anyone who wants to come by.
  4. Sounds like you have gone to a lot of effort to get this right Ross.
  5. Nice SMART pdf form. Not having gone to this track before, what does "this test can be done on the day" mean? Does it happen at the start of the day? Or do they/or SAU pick the really loud cars and test them? Mine is not real loud, certainly no issues with the police, but I have no idea exactly how loud it is and I assume others would be in the same situation. Assuming a car gets knocked back at the start of the day, do they lose the entry fee? Looking forward to another day out, maybe I can catch up with XKLABA's awesome car this time.
  6. Just do it Verms. It really doesn't matter what car it is to get numbers at this stage.
  7. Just surfing the net and came across this http://www.renew.asn.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=757 Congrats to the winners. Talk about random, they posted it Posted: "Tue Jun 21, 2011 10:30 pm " I posted the link to it before that time
  8. haha, funny man. I'd be lucky to get a 13
  9. I love it, great idea.
  10. Looks like NSW has stopped letting people enter as spectators for this event unless they are with a driver. I have 4 spots available if anyone wants them.
  11. As stated before, as long as I don't blow anything up at Sydney drags the day before I'll be there. But with the limited number will the day even go ahead?
  12. Paid and sent form
  13. +1 Don't give up, just find a better dealer. I think I've found one or two in VIC who seem to be doing very good deals. for pads/ rotors/brake kits.
  14. Maybe ship the parts to Speedflow, get Speedflow to fit them and ship them to our locations. All insured incase they go missing/get damaged for any reason. Just seems stupid to wait for parts in Australia to be shipped to the UK to be fitted there and then wait to be shipped back to us in Australia. I'm able to wait, not happy but I "need" the black connectors more then I "need" the cooler to be installed urgently. Appreciate all your effort.
  15. Hi Phil, Great work on putting together so many GB's. You have the same tastes as I do with parts so your choices are always interesting. I've been a little concerned with the current GB based on past excuses of the supplier and the feedback today does not help, a minimum of 6 extra weeks probably more. As I understand it you have received goods from this company before but they have a reputation for late delivery, is this correct? I appreciate you have said you will look to run these differently in the future to avoid or limit these kinds of delays. Based of their email to you the suppliers are seemingly happy to pay(reimburse) for the fittings we find our selves, but that would probably have to happen through you, as I can find a supplier easily for $600 made on the spot for me, so there must be some level they are willing to pay to, maybe $80-100 based on the GBP price of the connections? I know it is a pain but would you be willing to try and find a local supplier of the black connections with quick turn around? Then organise a refund through yourself (before purchase). Personally I'd prefer to receive the majority of the goods I paid for so long ago, and await delivery of the final black parts. That way I have 90% of what I paid for and am happier waiting for the final parts. (Unless they need to be specially fitted).
  16. They look good but I'll wait until they are tested and can be pictured in the car.
  17. Excuse my lack of skills in posting youtube links www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6tk6KtgAuU&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL
  18. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
  19. But as far as true street cars go, the skylines proved sussesful again. The fastest skylines on the day drove to the track, took the spare wheel out, went around the track and drove home. The classes certainly worked well from my perspective in green group. There were very few people i even saw on the track as we were so evenly timed and well spaced. Great battle with Grumblebee, I had a bit more power but could not lose him on the corners. A very nice looking R34 Vspec II, who was just able to pull consistantly better lap times then me but only .007 of a second faster for best lap. Will be looking to make more consistant times and chase him down in December.

  22. Fell for you mate, makes you feel like forming a SAU re-education squad and teching them a bit of respect.
  23. Ohh.. good idea. Group buy, instant track cred.
  24. Just turn up Nick, there will be plenty of opportunity. As long as my car is running I'll take you out. I don't need the tyres for this weekend, but I might be interested after the track day?
