  1. If she liked this she should have purchased an old citroen GL with the sale
  2. Sounds interesting. Are rally school and trackschool the same company/people?
  3. This looks awesome. Can use it for the bike as well, and easy to read screen at a good price. Even has all the australian tracks already programmed or ready to download. Any negatives? Looks like this will be my christmas present to myself.
  4. [quote name='Sinista32' timestamp='1322377920' post='6128700' The boys at Ultimate Tunes in Phillip may be able to help. They have a GTR or 2 being sold in parts in canberra. What did they do to them?
  5. Entry is cheap, it's the repairs afterwards that cost.
  6. Last time I checked coilovers were fine, but the adjustment had to be set. I spoke to an engineer and explained I like to take the car out to the track sometimes and he said he would just place markers where the coilovers needed to be.
  7. Location??
  8. Anyone want my 25 row kit (the big one). Changed the direction of what I'm doing.
  9. haha, this...
  10. Sure sure , you don't see me complaing about the brain cells I missed last weekend
  11. Thought you were talking about me, then read the bit about the commodore Always look at the pass not the car or driver. You can get the pass for various reasons not all of them being in a wheelchair. I occationally use a pass where needed.
  12. All the good people do
  13. Lots of Ferrari's. Think I'll join the next Ferrari track day at Wakefield Park. Should be able to keep up with their bigs guns now.
  14. Not sure where you went to school. "AN" before any word starting with a A,E,I,O or U. ha it was probably zebra leaving the note.
  15. I think a wake up call will be enougth on this forum (if they read it). Doubt they would be a member as most people here are good drivers, excluding Reece that is, he's nuts.
  16. Spotted 32 XAA-109 who was driving like a complete and utter tosser. Next time you swerve into the right lane with no indication when someone is about to overtake you, then attempt to make them rear end you with my pregant wife on board, will be the last time you drive.
  17. I'll bring the banner and tent and lets Zebra or someone bring them back.
  18. Do we have enougth people going to bring the banner and tent? Unfortunatly I can not stay very long on the day.
  19. From a shops point of view, aprents can be time consuming for little gain. Most want to be rebuilding engines on day 1 and could not be bothered demonstrating they know the basics (what they are there for in first year). Crap pay but as stated they leave after so long, so all the investment in time and risk is eventually wasted. A good apprentice is worth their weight in gold, most are a waste of time and so they all get treated that way. Get rid of these without a drive to succeed in the first year, then start teaching those that make it to 2nd year.
  20. Which are minimal paper handling costs. You don't pay the governments legal costs.
  21. I understand there is a set penalty, ie X penalty points. How is this going to be increased? An additional fine for forcing you accuser to prove guilt? Overall the time off work would not be worth it for me, but that is one thing the government pray upon.
  22. Why what else have you done wrong? It is your right as an Australian citizen to meet your accuser in court. Court fees are miminal about $40 last time I checked. You don't need a lawyer, you need an intelligent argument presented with facts in a mature manner. If you go to court there two outcomes If you lose: A day off work + the cost of court attendance fee. If you win: A day off work + saving of $81 + keeping an offence off your record + satisfaction of sticking it to the government. Hell even if you do lose chalk it up to a learning experiance, better to learn the court system over a parking fine then over something more serious. If it goes to court and the government loses, you will probably see some signs errected.
  23. There's always excemptions in court, each case is judged on it's own basis.
  24. Looks like they are trying to justify the fine for parking on a nature strip based on the link. Considering you are only a wheel's distance onto the strip I think you could reasonably argue an exemption in a court on a first time basis. If you get grief in a court, pull a law book from the wall ask a question about a law in the book and ask them for the answer. It's physically inpossible to know every law. (always wanted to do that) As for parking on the street, what is the speed limit? 50? 60? What is the law about parking on streets without sign posted regulations? Australian road rules, ACT site is uesless just refers to these rules. http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/sa/consol_reg/arr210/s208.html http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/sa/consol_reg/arr210/s350.html This is the one they are trying to get you on http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/sa/consol_reg/arr210/s197.html
