Bring on the rain! lol, I have never been to a wet Deca, I am sure I will regret it if it does rain though... heard the "revised weather forecast" this morning and Luke exclaimed "Noooooo, not rain Saturday" Meanwhile I was excited and made sure to email Bec about ponchos A wet Deca would really test peoples driving skills out (unless you are a 4wd cheat ) -
Hey Bec, Is there enough spare rooms for us to keep our room for the one night or should we look elsewhere? Cheers Anna

Yup, threw me too.& I'm married to one of them LOL Luke- no passenger runs is a bugger, guessing it was Q times too because I think they run passenger passes single runs only, not against someone else.
-
Not sure on the number of runs people got as we left early- Thats usually what it has been like when we have been there, but this time Luke ran 3 times between about 11 and 12 and had a half hourish break in between his second and third run, once the second car dropped oil was when the line backed right back as it was a fair spill that they had to clean up, it was PACKED! I'd guess at least 75 entrants racing for the day maybe? I didnt actually count but there were cars everywhere, seemed to be people still arriving at 12:30ish when we decided to load up and leave... A few hotted up commodores, not many imports though. There were alot of serious dragsters there too from what I could see. Luke(Nutr33) said he has been going for years and never seen that many cars entered before. We have never been to Calder on Fridays so cant compare to that... I've been looking at their website and no idea when they last ran a Test day so maybe that is why it was so busy, also there are no future dates listed Sorry we didnt get to meet you Luke, we walked past the car but you didnt appear to be around and then of course we left early!
-
Never seen Heathcote that busy before. We left early as 2 cars had already dropped oil and the line for runs was right back to near the speedway area. Otherwise it was a good day, nice to meet you Brent!

Hi All, Before you all have a go and say no way please read the below, and then feel free to comment...There has been a change of plans for the Saturday night tea at DECA... We have been contacted by Taco Baz offering us a deal that was too good to refuse. Baz, Chris and Kylie will be taking over the restaurant for the night putting on an SAU-VIC party, just like the good old days! None of the unfriendly staff that were there last time will be around at all. When? Saturday 4th of June (after DECA) Time - TBA Details: OPTION 1 - $45.00 per person, pay as you enter This entitles you to either All you can eat MADE FRESH mexican (not bulk produced in bain marie) or Chicken Parmi 1 x Fishbowl 1x Sombrero Additional drinks will be pay as you go. OPTION 2- For those not wanting a fish bowl $20 per person pay as you enter and you can choose either All you can eat MADE FRESH mexican (not bulk produced in bain marie) or Chicken Parmi then pay as you go for drinks This is a massive discount on usual costs and Baz is offering us this as an apology for the past treatments (Not under Baz's control) Please list your names below if you intend on coming along, and indicate which you would prefer - either parmi or mexican If you say you are coming and dont turn up, Bec will probably hurt you Looking forward to partying with you all on the 4th
