I don't know if its always a matter of skimping on oil Cam, but some people (me included) genuinely don't understand or can tell the difference between oils. I don't understand the difference between a $50 group IV oil and a $200 group IV oil. They're both the same grade, so they should be the same quality, it's just price that is difference (those prices are just an example...). Not sure if I'd ever run my car for 10,000 ks between changes though. I'd rather put a decent oil and filter in every 5,000ks, even if it costs ~$130 a shot. Simple insurance! Always changed my cars at 5,000ks, turbo or not.

Fuel economy babying it is around 13-14L/100 Insurance can be mega expensive, depends who you go through. I've seen anywhere from $800-2000 for full comp. Service costs? I've seen nothing shocking so far. Quality fluids and filters are the same price, I guess the difference is you want to make sure you put quality stuff in. Just depends on whether stuff breaks, but most parts I've bought so far haven't been much more expensive. I think it'd make a good family car, but I don't have a family

Dump/front pipe without cat - 480.00 Middle pipe with 200cpsi ceramic cat - 450.00 Middle pipe without cat - 250.00 Catback with muffler in the middle and single cannon style - 800 Catback same as above but twin mufflers 930.00 Titanium tips as per photos add 150.00 All is stainless steel (except titanium tips obviously). Why? I checked with them and its as high a grade as the Castrol etc. The stuff Im using is left over from a supply Valvoline gave dad for his Jackaroo when he was competing in the Safari rallies. Seemed alright for that, and it was exposed to all kinds of dirt and crap. Engine is still fine.

I havent used the Castrol, but someone on here or m35stagea.info called it cheap shit. Im using Valvoline fully synthetic at the moment, seems fine, but when the free stash runs out Ill probably switch to Motul or Royal Purple, whatevers easier to get. My local Repco have Motul 300v but theres bugger all discount and Im pretty sure I have to buy 4+1 litres...

The mirrors are different Leon. Picked my car up the other day from getting the alarm done, and the left hand indicators didnt work. Fn things are scotch locked in behind the right hand kickpanel! The scotch lock had broken the wire!

Ok so I fitted the strut brace, and because Im a clumsy dick I made it take much longer than it needed too, as i kept dropping the 12 mm nuts from the strut tops... So Ive lost one nut... Would I be right to drive it for a day while I get a replacement? Or is there a less important 12mm nut somewhere on the car I can steal temporarily?
