  1. Good luck fitting your audio gear into the back of a GT-R
  2. Thanks Jason, I'll give them a call. Didn't think about a wrecker having a V35 or M35.
  3. If you're after Federals with local support talk to Mark at SA Motorsport Tyres. www.samotorsporttyres.com.au.
  4. Definitely, but United have had supply issues apparently and have dropped it. They're expecting to have it out again soon though. What is required as a minimum to try eflex? If there's a servo in North Adelaide I might give it a go, but I was of the understanding I'd have to do injectors/fuel pump/tune?
  5. You might want to talk to GSL Rallysport. For my M35 they've quoted me $410 for DBA 4000 slotted fronts (pair) as their normal price, so assuming your non-Brembo discs would be about the same, I'd say if the pricing was sharper for the group buy you might get a better uptake?
  6. I don't. Dad has a trade account with Independent Batteries, so I usually get him to order them for me. If you've got a code that'd be great. Did you use the same terminals?
  7. Good luck finding it then! Be easier to order a new one!
  8. I've heard some mixed reports. What's the main benefit? I was told by someone that it would be worthwhile being in Adelaide for warmer summers.
  9. If you could do that Jason I'd appreciate it. I'll see if I can find anyone wrecking a v35, or hunt around online.
  10. Sorry to bring up an old thread, but does anyone who has replaced their battery have the size code? There's usually a letter and a couple of numbers on top of the battery but since mine is a Jap battery there's just random Japanese letters. Just make it easier to order a replacement without hunting quite so much or changing terminals like Scott suggests. Is 350Z the same?
  11. Worth doing when you do the fuel pump then? I'm guessing there's a part number on here somewhere...
  12. Hi guys. Currently looking for a power window motor for my drivers door window. Already spoke to Iain and he doesn't have one. If anyone has one or knows where I can get one without going through YAJ/buying a door, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Ryan
  13. AM Performance - http://amperformance.com.au/ Andrew does some sexy dumps and front pipes, and has designed them to fit the standard mount points so you can keep your rear section (or buy a Kakimoto/Blitz/etc). Call him on 0401 865 373 He can ship them or if you're in Adelaide he'll fit them.
  14. No wonder! Doing an oil change/service every 1-2 months would drive me mental! Mine only gets driven on weekends, so it only does around 10,000km/year. One service every 4-6 months isn't too bad.
  15. Let me know when it's fitted, I want to check it out!
  16. I picked mine up from someone who bought it and never fitted it, already painted in my colour. WIN! Ask Dunc who's going to fix his Kenstyle kit and get them to paint it for you
  17. rhdjapan have the Nismo wing I just picked up: http://www.rhdjapan.com/nismo-s-tune-aero-body-kit-roof-wing-spoiler-stagea-m35-56355
  18. Amarok? Dad just got one of those, they're 15k, but then so's their Audi. No idea if that's just a VW thing or a diesel thing. My logic with these things has always been they're second hand cars, and I've always just changed the oil every 5k. This car might be different, as it is more modern than anything I've owned previously but I'm happy to do it anyway, and it's not going to hurt it. Small price to pay for my peace of mind. Then again since dad has a workshop, it's pretty easy for me to knock over quickly on a Saturday morning, and I don't have to deal with offloading oil, crawling on the floor, etc. Just chuck it on the hoist, drain it into the oil tank, nip it up and you're done! And yes, I am more than a little paranoid. But I'm ok with it!
  19. What are they worth Aaron? And what's the difference between Impul and Nismo in terms of features and tune?
  20. My girlfriend works for Allianz and they won't insure me, but they'll insure stupid blow up cars according to their ads. I think my car would be far less difficult and costly to insure... Happy with mine, just can't be used by the general public.
  21. I'd like to get a nicer key and ditch the bulky OEM key. Just because I like nice shiny stuff. Don't use the buttons on the OEM key at all anymore. Alarm is just easier.
  22. Yep, tested it and it was on the way out, but still in servicable life, so dads suggestion was leave it. Now Ill be changing it! I dont really take photos, more video work. Check out www.puremotorsport.tv for that. Im still learning decent photography, use my 7D more for video and happy snaps.
