  1. I have one button entry, its just a different button. I have a feeing youre right Leon, probably be fine if you replace the scotch locks with solder. But with mine playing up I didnt want to stuff around with it. Im not sure if you can get something to work with the standard key if you rip out the factory alarm, but the point was made to me how many keys will you have? Probably one, and theyre at least $110 each...
  2. Pics of the car yet? Oh and today i took my car our to mallala for the g1 drift. Drove half a lap to the start to get some different camera angles and went to start it and had no power left Getting your car jump started in front of a few thousand people on a race track is embarrassing... New battery this week methinks...
  3. You probably have the dealer option alarm, with a sensor on the left hand side dash near the a pillar. Thats what was in mine. Doubt youd have an immobiliser unless it was fitted at compliance, mine didnt have one. Wasnt included in the factory alarm upgrade. Now it does though
  4. Clint, I think you misread. Leons kit will come with the factory buttons, but if your wheel cant fit the factory buttons for whatever reason you can use the third stalk. I wouldnt even be considering it if it had a third stalk. I want a neat solution!
  5. Yep, Auto Perfection did an ok job, and the alarm fob unlocks and disarms the alarm. Dunc got his done at GT Autosound. I was going to go this way but George wanted to fix the standard alarm and fit an upgrade, and I was convinced by reading on here that the standard one would continue to cause me issues.
  6. I know Leon, all good. If it's not ready, it's not ready. I'll probably survive if I have to.
  7. Sounds like it. I'm in queue... waiting impatiently!
  8. Hi all. I have for sale a 17mm aluminum plenum spacer for a NM35 Stagea (VQ25DET). Includes bolts, adaptors and a gasket. Increases power, torque and fuel economy, and also improves drivability. Bought it back when I first got my car, never got around to fitting it, and now can't fit it with my strut brace in place. $100 + postage. Can be picked up in Adelaide. PM me or call 0410 131 658. Thanks, Ryan
  9. No I haven't. Looking at Braid at the moment, something a bit different, but I do like some of the Work wheels and those CE37s... Not interested in those springs, thanks anyway. Shocks are shagged so I want to ditch the lot and go straight to coilovers. Seems the best solution. More interested in fixing it up than lowering it.
  10. Got a Nismo S-Tune rear wing, and fitted it up. Looks tops! Now want to try and do cruise, suspension, disks and wheels/tyres over the next month or so. Could end up just machining the disks for now, but it'll be more convenient to be able to do it all on one day, instead of waiting for disks to be machined.
  11. Mark is mobile. Assuming he has stock that should be fine for tomorrow morning. I'd imagine he'd have stock, G1 drift is on this weekend, he'd need them for that.
  12. That's only factory right? No issues with aftermarket units like that?
  13. Nick, give Mark at SA Motorsport Tyres a call on 0409 288 380. He's the SA Federal and Hankook motorsport dealer, he'll be able to advise you of something decent for daily use. I'm waiting on him to sort my wheels out before we go tyres, but he did have some ideas and will be able to tell you whether it is or isn't over the top (and he'll be honest about it!). Tell him Ryan from Pure Motorsport sent you
  14. I stilll get the herse comment from the woman, keep threatening to turn it into one...
  15. Like to see them when they arrive, look nice. I've got a mate working out with Braid about a set of wheels at the moment, see how that goes otherwise I saw a few nice ones on that Work web site!
  16. The leaf wont work. Everything else should as normal.
  17. Thanks to Big Fella and Luke Terbeeke for the photo of the "Pirate Spec" (Thanks Mike!) M35
  18. Get adjustable coilovers, and a computer so you don't have to use your iPhone!
  19. Good cruise, thanks OLDS. Don't know what happened with the mix up at the end point, but good fun nonetheless.
  20. Because you could never do that with an M35... Why the wagon? Not happy with the Evo or need a family car?
  21. But I have sunroofs, so cant really do that. Shed ruin my view on an otherwise fantastic day. Boot has tie downs though, and I keep ratchet straps in there!
  22. AWESOME!
  23. Really? The only time my girlfriend's mum is getting in my car is when she's wrapped in plastic and I'm disposing of the body...
  24. Black 260RS on Prospect Road turning left onto Regency tonight.
  25. Depends what the issue is... Aaron drives around like that 24/7!
