Fitted Scotty's coolant bypass kit, Nismo thermostat & silicone radiator hoses on Tuesday. I didn't really believe it when people said that the stock bleeder valve falls apart when you touch it - 'mine will be fine!' I thought.... Lol. It's like it was made of licorice - only problem with that was the bit of plastic that fell down the heater hose towards the radiator inlet. :I A squirt down there with the old garden hose flushed that out though, but I did swear at it for a little while beforehand.

Burnout or not made no difference, there's no wheelspin on takeoff regardless. And yeah, just stall it up on the line & get off the brake when you see a green light. lol Sounds like brake cut switch isnt on if you cant get the revs up, maybe. The exhaust gave the most noticable difference, but i dont have any before & after figures. I'll line up someone with just an exhaust one day & see what the actual difference is to compare what the Impul is doing for me. And yes, had a 20v AE86 years & years ago.

Went out last night to watch some mates run & they convinced me to give the M35 a go too. Managed a 13.9 @ 95. Lol Off topic: My mate did a pb in his mk6 Golf with a 12.2 & his brothers Golf was just outside his pb of 11.3 with a string of 11.4s

This is the 2nd one thats died in 4 months. Got a 2nd hand one last time from a wreckers which they gave me 3 months warranty on - failed after 4 months to the day. lol

Just replaced the O2 sensor with a brand new Bosch unit. As expected, AFI didn't have a listing for an M35, but confirmed the Bosch p/n I gave them matched up with pre-'04 Z33 upstream sensors. The nissan plug had to be joined onto the wires from the new sensor, but other than that, it was very straightforward. In fact, it only took 15 mins to change thanks to my shiny new O2 sensor removal tool! (Craig & Scott, you've gotta invest in one of these things... Best $17 I've ever spent.) Lol 0258986602 is the bosch part number for the oxygen sensor in case you're interested.

Craig was kind enough to fit my dump pipe & a Transgo kit yesterday. Much, much nicer to drive the car now. Gotta change the O2 sensor now though - it decided it was too old to work properly anymore & has thrown a code. Boo.

Ive got a set of the $70 lower ball joints in mine. All good apart from the boots splitting not long after they were installed.
