  1. Had super happy family time today and couldn't sneak away. Do you work nights, Dr Craig?
  2. Silver Axis at Penshurst station tonight. Shared beeps.
  3. The OB-Link tells you the codes as they come up, but won't let you clear them. (There's the accelerator pedal shuffle for that though...)
  4. Had noble intentions today of fitting up the LSD rear end & the Scotty dump, front pipe & new Blitz Nür catback I got the other day... Diff went in fine, but I was foiled utterly by the stock dump pipe... I even called Scott to walk me through it, but couldn't for the life of me remove the O2 sensor with the tools I had - and as a result I couldn't get to the top centre nut to the dump pipe flange. Fitted up the rest of the exhaust to the stock dump (will be forced to ask Craig to do it for me while I hang my head in shame) and I'm glad to report that its SUPER quiet. At idle, it's not much louder than the standard exhaust & probably just as loud as the induction roar on WOT. Will be interesting to see if there's any change in noise levels once the factory dump/cat is swapped for the good one...
  5. And why would you stick duct tape over a brake light I wonder? Voodoo Nismo magic no doubt...
  6. Thanks Scotty. Let me know if its ok & if it is, I'll grab it off you.
  7. lifesaver. afaik the light assmbly is sealed in & isnt removable from the long black upper cover which bolts through the top of the tailgate lid?
  8. I've already got the rear wing but it fits over the black plastic panel that the brake light is part of with a cut out for the brake light lens. Pita mission taking it all off just to find there's no globe to be removed
  9. no-one has successfully changed the globe then i gather? anyone got the p/n?
  10. How in the name of sh!t do I change the damned globe in this thing??? I've removed the black housing that the lens in mounted into thinking I could change the globe from underneath, but nope.. It's all sealed up. Do I have to pry the lens off the housing from the outside? If so I'm pretty certain I'll crack it... Any suggestions?
  11. M35 250RX in silver parked behind me in the Westfield Hurstville carpark yersterday morning
  12. swapped my attessa pump for a working one. god its nice to have 4wd again
  13. The solution is to remove the F-Con entirely & go back to stock. I'll gladly help by taking the obviously faulty F-Con off your hands for a hundred bucks or so... What's your account details?
  14. saw a blue M35 on Bronte Rd in Bondi Junction today around 12:30 - had r33/r34 brakes on the front
  15. Dale, that sounded like you just organized a cruise. Give us a date & time & we'll meet you there... Thanks mate!
  16. On the subject of coil packs... I changed my cam cover gaskets on Friday because they were both leaking & at the same time took the opportunity to change the spark plugs. I dont think they'd been changed in quite a few years - both electrodes were worn away pretty badly - so badly infact that the gap was close to 3mm! Demonstrates how strong the spark is from the coilpacks if it could keep the car running fine regardless. Although I must say there's now a very noticable difference in engine response now that the new 1.1mm plugs are in. * And christ, what an ars$ehole of a job that passenger cam cover is to get back on without the rear part of the gasket falling back out - that aircon line can f**k right off.
  17. Cept I live in southern Sydney.
  18. LSD. Bought it from IM what feels like years ago & it finally came in. The wife wanted it because she's sick of doing single spinner burnouts.
  19. got my new diff delivered last week, now to find time to install it.
  20. I'm near Hurstville if you want to try it out in mine
  21. That was me Cheers mate
