  1. So I decided to knock up a gauge pod to mount a boost gauge on my dash at the base of the A-pillar the other day. I started with a yum-cha '1 size fits all' generic A-pillar mount i got for cheap off eBay which i then started cutting into shape, followed by a bit of bogging & sanding Pics: And once I was happy with the shape (and many coats of hi-fill later), I painted it with some dark grey paint I had mixed up in a sample pot from Bunnings, applied with a sponge for the textured effect (the colour isnt a perfect match, but its close enough) & then stuck it to the dash with dounle sided tape I'm in half a mind to re-do it so that the line at the bottom matches the line of the vent underneath it, but finding the time is the problem - that & the fact that I couldn't be arsed.
  2. Yeah, looks a lot like a JZX100
  3. I saw your car for sale when I was looking for an M35 back in Jan/Feb & it had been advertised at $16k for a while even then - I never bothered ringing because the ad said you were going overseas & I assumed it was sold and that was why the car was still advertised after so long... My advice - pay the $40 for a new ad with new pics so it doesn't look like it's still for sale after so long - people will assume there's something wrong with it if it's still not sold after an extended time. Good luck moving it mate.
  4. I'll be in for one too please
  5. He's not at Nagoya anymore, but I heard stories about him from the guys there. My car was from them & I found them really helpful. The km's on most of the cars they have are nonsense, but if you take into account it's likely got double the klicks on it & factor that into the condition & price, you should be able to find something decent.
  6. I used to be an underwriting manager for Lumley. lol
  7. Ah, I see. Is there a particular reason most people opt for a high flowed stocker over a new off the shelf unit? Simply ease of fitment? Or does the M35 have a unique flange design or something like that?
  8. Does that mean you'll have a spare once you're all done?
  9. White C34 RS Four S with R34 GT-R wheels & a 'Cops are Tops' sticker on the rear bumper parked on Forest Rd in Hurstville just now.
  10. Do you remember which hose between the gearbox & radiator was which? I was planning on hooking up my trans cooler the exact same way...
  11. I didn't think you looked Greek!
  12. I'm selling an '07 Forester XT if these guys have put you off the Stagea...
  13. Diesels get pretty good fuel economy...
  14. Thanks for organizing, Alex. Was a great drive & good to put some faces to screen names. Pity I got stuck behind a Suzuki Ingnis on the way out of Palm Beach...
  15. The M4 is a carpark, I'm gonna be very late
  16. There are no rear struts in an M35, so no strut brace either. I've seen an upper pillar brace on IM that (from memory) anchors the two rear seatbelt mounts together from one side of the caf to the other... Not sure if it would be worth a shit besides getting in the way of having full access to the boot.
  17. I am intrigued by your ideas and would like to subscribe to your newsletter...
  18. Speed channel is part of the Foxtel sports package
  19. Cool They remind me of Oz-Racing Turismo's a bit
  20. Cool. 8mm = 5/16 9.5mm = 3/8 You'll be able to squeeze them in with some oil inside the hose
  21. Just picked up my "Super Deluxe Cool-Style Spec Daleo Chassis Brace" from the post office! I think I'll be doing some installation tomorrow morning...
  22. I am hereby stealing your idea! And what are the barbs btw? 5/16?
  23. Which leads me to ask - which hose from the gearbox is fluid IN to the radiator & which is OUT? (ie: left or right side of the rad)
  24. Cool, when you find it, lemme know how much you'd like for it sent up to Sydney. Ta
  25. actually, im confusing the size of a temp sender with the size of a pressure sender... a temp sender, being the smaller of the two wouldnt be a big deal on the side of the pan, you're right.
