  1. Actually you are incorrect if the injector fires for 2.2ms and the lag time is 0.8 the injector is only injecting fuel for 1.4ms FACT. This is why many jap tuners do not like some SARD injectors as they are quite inefficient.... this misunderstanding all actually came up in a course i did recently with one japans top ECU manufacturers and tuners. LAG time is not affected by RPM but by the load thatis put on the engine. The lower the load is on the engine the larger the lag time will be. LAG TIME or LATENCY is the time it takes from when the ECU grounds the injector circuit to actually delivering fuel through the injector. A quick look at a scope will reveal all you need to know about lag or latency.
  2. TRUST japan was out of stock, soon all our back orders will be filled and we will have 100 on their merry way.
  3. latency or lag is quite important to maintain accurate injector timing as an inneffiecent injector with large lag times and no correction via the ECU robs you of "effective" fuel delivery.... poor tuners will tend to leave this at zero as they dont actually understand the basics of tuning.... they just fiddle with numbers.
  4. 1000% better than steelman chassis ears.... steelman and snap on are made by the same manufacturer are are crude and dont pick up half the knock compared to the K-mon... chassis ears are pretty back yard honestley thats why i upgraded. Best thing is the datalog software is handy and very good as a visual aid also. Good enough for apexi to use it as their official tuning partner!! http://www.apexi-usa.com/news_special.asp?id=12
  5. go to my site www.uras.com.au i have it listed there.
  6. sorry yeah have not been in for weeks.... flat out with work day time and AH. my work email has a new filter so i figure that is why i havent recieved any of your emails. sorry. cheers trent
  7. 100% does not come clos to fitting. R34 GTT will not ever have a plug and play harness i have been informed. maybe buy a field harness instead.
  8. Yeah we sell alot of the 17x9.5 + 15 URAS NS01 to guys with big brakes as they fit quite easily.
  9. instock will give you a killer deal on the uras ones if you want something decent.
  10. What did you think of the day? you certainly had no dramas in our section.
  11. the best solution is a FLEX-A-LITE dual system part number 220 these pull 2500cfm (davies craig seem to rate their fans way off!! as twin davies fans could not keep our car even remotely cool) the 220 keeps our drift car ice cold, i run a pivot fan controller but am working on a cheaper alternative. The fans are the same size as the skyline radiator and have a rubber seal that seals against the rad surface. http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/low-p...e-electric.html
  12. i got 3 on there ATM no skyline stuff though
  13. Mate i been tuning cars for 10 years, the turbotech bleed vlave has been on countless of them as has just about every brand of boost controller.. be it ebc or manual type! i will give a money back gaurantee to anyone if i cannot get an increase in power throughtout the midrange from using a properly setup EBC over any bleed valve that is on the market atm.
  14. There are quite a few realtime tuning suites available, but i must admit the nistune one is attractive as it is local. Hardware looks a bit agri but the software is pretty smooth.
  15. gasket maker? for what?
  16. Best bet is to use the Rb26 sump, they can be sourced nearly anywhere and i think i paid 100 for mine with a noisy diff. simple enough to remove the diff yourself and the thing is bullet proof... im not a fan of the steel sumps ive seen around the traps and the adapter plates ive seen are a waste of cash. Our car sits on 7k for ages and with simple bolt in baffles has proved very reliable and the whole lot owes me bugger all... far less than a high energy one thats for sure.
  17. they use exedy components well my Gmax did. if not www.linkinternational.com.au can get all the nismo stuff you need. If your in melb ring 0414 944146 for the local rep.
  18. remmember AVCR is well over 10 years old and was never all that good to start with.... honestley they look good and thats it. A BLITZ DSBC will out perform it and the turbotech all day everyday
  19. its the same anyway.
  20. i can gaurantee a power increase 100% of the time with a properly setup EBC like a DSBC etc (i hate AVCR's they really show their age nowadays)..... over a turbotech bleed valve (actually any bleeder) in some cases i have seen as much as 22rwkw in the mid range.... an EBC can react far quicker and hold the gate shut for longer which = more mid... especially while the turbotech is busy bleeding off.
  21. its all in the rear geometry, what sort of traction rod mods and cradle angle mods are you using? Remember to set up the traction rods you need to set it up on a wheel aligner without the rear shocks and simulate wheel travel and andjust them to the pont where there is as little toe change over the travel as possible (use you ride hieght as the cetre point). Secondly we had the same issue at eastern creek where the wheelworx car got way off the line and cat lost the second battle purely on lack of proximity. Changing to super pineapples extra 6mm inclination on the cradle has now fixed the launch issue and helped alot with drive out of corners. check your lower control arm bushes too, i have seen huge dynamic changes in toe due to worn lower bushes.
  22. look at your alignment (static and dynamic), RA-1's should hold that sort of power when hot. Have you looked at changing cradle angle to inprove traction? we just fitted Super pineapples to the drift car and have found a BIG gain in traction over the std ones. we run 3mm total toe in .2-1deg neg depending on track adjust traction arms to suit ride height (these reduse toe change during suspensiontravel) Cradle angle increased by about 20mm (front down)
  23. omm front for street 2-3mm total toe in rear 4mm is too much
  24. it is uncommon to damage an engine from the sort of turbo failure the gtr suffer, we actually ran all of round one in wa with one stuffed turbo and the other running 17psi. Usually there are other factors which determine the engine failure.
