  1. The a/f harness is best for datalogging and no real need for your tuner, as for the wait on the boost controller interface.... dont hold your breath something is coming but i cant get a date... not even an approximate
  2. how can you say it had a tune 2 weeks prior? it has std ecu yeah? i would be checking for vacuum leaks or fuel pressure bleed off after standing for awhile (aftermarket pump?).
  3. these have a ebc as std and a fuel cut piss both off. both easy to do.
  4. never ever had an issue.... who set it up? they are pretty fool proof if you read the instructions...... in real time dyno testing we have seen them outdo all but the dsbc from blitz.
  5. some of it was good before the taiwanese company took over and turned it to crap. speaking to one of their local distributors they have assholed the lot due to continued warranty concerns
  6. yeah the nismo are not adjustable but are shorter than std ones to correct mild lowering jobs. Nismo arms front and rear will correct alignment issues if the car is lowered (undamaged) to the minimum recommended height... which i am yet to determine soon as i do i will post it up.
  7. GIZZMO IBC... if its good enough to hold 2.65 bar on DSPORTS 1037hp GTR it will hold yours fine
  8. exactly right about "threshhold"... on some cars there can be as much as 20rwkw hiding in that threshold that can only be realised with decent listening equipment.
  9. what are the actual map values? i would sit there with the car idling and just keep reducing the numbers till it starts to stumble then increase a bit. Carby tune stylz
  10. thats cause they (those shops) are probaly brain washed into thinking garrets and hks are the same..... housings differrences MAKE ALL THE DIFFERRENCE. i have never once been able to replicate results with generic garret housing when compared to the HKS equivalents. As for 400rwkw you can do it with low mounts shit we get easy 380rwkw out of T517Z (std heads) all day everyday.

  12. i have no faith in penrite oils after seeing some of the results in oil sample tests but your theory on thinners oils is no-where close to reality unfortunately.
  13. yeah get that shock proof outta there, awesome for boxes.... baad for diffs. Redline do a excellent oil for mech diffs so use it instead 85w140.
  14. autotechnica in melb does a gear boot and handbrake cover kit ($69ish from memeory) in high quality leather every bit as good as the fatory setup including the metal base ring etc....
  15. suspension is average but i like some of thier other gear.

  18. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING SET YOUR BASE TIMING... as this could simply explain the differrence in timing up top.

  20. mt buller challenge FTW coverage wise i thought the porsche bit was bit of a laugh, old dude cool calm collected and his wife screaming random commands... flat....turn...slip...brake...brake.. BRAKE. saw a few familar cars... white 180sx, and two gtrs white and blue... pity there was not more but a mate who is a typical tv bogan loved the coverage.... so who figures maybe we are the viewing minority?
  21. nissan.... they are pretty hard to swap without distorting. Fit a GTR shifter if you can, no plastic shit on the bottom and much nicer shift feel.... if you cant find one let me know i got a hoard somewhere.

  23. exactly and this guy is getting 10-15 which aint pre ignition or detonation.
