  1. it should not need those resistors. only the old emange used external resistors in a module. keep me updated.
  2. std 26 for sure, i think our front cut +box was about that but we have done it before. a workshop will usually charge bewteen 8-10k (incl engine)from what ive been told.
  3. does it have the adapter fitted inside the emanage? part number 1521500. i have done about 6 personally and never burnt coils. if you dont fit the adpater it wll burn coils in a matter of 20-30mins.

  5. for the 10K is is going to cost to do the swap your sr with another 10k spent on it would eat the 26. a stock rb26 in a S13 is a slug.... trust me ive been there.
  6. In a 300zx for example there is is a 32 byte table (location 7b50-7b70) . It represents Ignition Dwell Duty, the values in the table * 0.33, represent percentage of Dwell Duty. Scale: 400 rpm to 12800rpm in steps of 400 rpm.

  10. Access Performance in Melb have had no dramas getting PFC's of late. i bought a GTR d-jetro no less than a week ago. http://www.accessauto.com.au/ autobarn mile end in SA 08 82347344 have a RB20 PFC in stock.
  11. hmm damn tailshafts.... we had a rear uni break on cats 26'd S13 a fortnight ago on CREATD's new dyno @ 6700 rpm...... fkn scary as i was sitting where the rear seat is usually with the laptop. The tailshaft tore through the floor and missed my ass by about 10-15cms. Moral: unis are cheap asses are not
  12. i asked ppg when we purchased our works box if we could use the Ikeya shifter with it and they said that due to their dog engagement design it would destroy the box or shifter in no time. I am waiting to hear back which dog boxes the d1 boys use with thier ikeya shifters.

There is almost always two settings; IGNITION VOLTAGE DWELL COMPENSATION (amount of time added to base ignition dwell as a function of ignition voltage) IGNITION DWELL PERIOD ((length of time the ignition coil dwells as a function of rpm) sometimes this is a percentage of duty, like remaps for example)
  14. i have had a few GTR come into the country with the AFM wires parralelled. It works fine. I also did it on cats when trying to find the electrical gremlin which made it miss. Fitting a Lightning AFM would require plotting new AFM curves, i think i have an equation somwhere to determine the load values vs voltage. I will check.

  19. i have some FET coils in the GTR, i will see if the like the same kinda settings as the splitfires and post it up.

  21. unfortunately never as there is not enough demand in japan. The R34 GTT plug is unique. Wire in for GTT only.... it aint hard i did a GT to GTT conversion for a autobarn customer not long ago and it was a piece of piss. NOTE: WGNC34, GTT and series 2 R33 need jumper 8 set to 12v not 5v as they have internal ignitors. GTT also needs ignition adapter 15921500
