  1. its a common mod, if you cant master this simple task without disaster it would probaly pay to get some-one to install the turbos for you. trust me you should be fine.
  2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=88991 here is the control panel for the launch control
  3. in the meantime if anyone has any question regards specific screen shots feel free to quiz me, i aint no guru but i am as confident with the product as i am with FC datalogit.
  4. adaptronic i think you mean. http://www.adaptronic.com.au/
  5. there are more "tricks" than "issues" when fitting them. Many green gtr mecahnics struggle with removing and fitting the turbos ie taking like 2 days to do the swaps....
  6. DATALOGING; Below is a simple datalog, by scolling through the datalog a red square also tracks in the relevant map point. this makes finding detonating or fueling uses super easy and fast.
  7. EMANAGE ULTIMATE EXAMPLE: this is the current setup we run on our Drift car www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=93880&st=80&start=80" INTERNALLY STD RB26 (NEVER OPENED KINDER SUPRISE FRONT CUT) EMANAGE ULTIMATE PLUG AND PLAY WITH OPTIONAL PRESSURE SENSOR RUNNING NO AFM'S 700CC BLITZ INJECTORS BLITZ IDIII boost controller TRUST T517Z'S TURBO'S WITH 8CM HOUSINGS (BABY'S) TRUST INTAKE AND COOLER PIPING KIT 115MM TRUST R-SPL COOLER GIZZMO PHENOLIC INTAKE GASKETS HKS METAL THROTTLE BODY GASKETS JJR ALLOY PIPE KIT STD DUMPS TRUST MILD STEEL FRONT PIPES TRUST PETIR 80MM TITANIUM CAT-OUT EXHAUST 312rwkw @ 16psi OR 1.2bar Response was the major requirement and it has delivered decent power too at a nice low boost level.
  8. SETUP STEPS; select car select maps you wish to adjust you can then select your preferred units ie bar or psi etc
  9. How to remove AFM; This is a simple operation that requires the optional greddy pressure sensor to be plugged into either of the inputs on the front of the emanage (yellow plugs). open data sampler map (far right toolbar icon) turn data sampler ON (click on/off icon) select airflow voltage and log its voltages (you will need to select greddy pressure sensor in the IGN and INJ too ) drive vehicle and populate as much of the sample screen as possible (safest to do on dyno or track) but road is fine if you have enough demerit points cut and past this populated data into the AIRFLOW OUTPUT map. done Here is a link to a easy to follow video (please remmeber it is an EVO IX so it uses HZ not voltge) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&id=124155
  10. OK this will be of a work in progress as i dont have much spare time ATM I will start by loading up all the important features with screen shots as this will show how it works and the options involved ie scales etc I have added the wiring mod needed when using the plug and play GTR loom on R33 GTS-T NOTE: GTT needs ignition adapter (internal plug in) and jumper 8 set to 12v not 5v as they have internal ignitors. In fact it is best to ALWAYS set this jumper to 12v (on all cars) as even if the ignition system is 5V it will not harm the system or any components.. it will only harm things if you set it to 5V and it is actually 12V. **** ADDED ALL THE INSTALL NOTES AND HARNESS ADAPTERS****
  11. um.... i fitted ours in about an hour with none of the above listed parts..... and its picture is on every DRIFT branded gauge box around the country for proof. Yes you need to mod the hinges but anyone with half a clue can do it without buying new hinges..
  12. in stock http://www.uras.com.au/yosonchi.html
  13. i will take some, it came up as good as any 2pac jobs we have done in the past.
  14. i will post a screen shot tonight, i have never needed to use it yet and cause i get hit in the head alot i cant even remmeber its input / output requirements etc But iam 100% it does it cause i remmember going hey thats handy... then never using it should i start another FAQ thread later tonight as this is becoming to specific? we can then use it to diagnose customer issues also? thread a work in progress http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=161460
  15. I will post up screen shots tonight if that helps? it would help with my descriptions as it will show what the scales are and the adjustment points. There is more in the EMU than i would ever use. 1. Does it handle ignition retard and cut for auto? Yes 2. Is there a limit to the injector size? Blue version yes, but i have not found a point on the EMU that is too large ie running 850's on sr's and 720cc's on 26's etc are no stress, i have just done a 2jz with 1000cc but it is not turn key yet, it will be a good test expected 500-680rwkw 3. What parts of the standard ECU control does it leave untouched? i will have to sit down and ponder that for a while because the more i play the more i find. 4. Does it have a boost control option? No... soonish i hear full colour lcd possibility. 5. Does it allow for inlet air temp compensation? Yes There is a inlet temp correction map 6. How is the cold start and run tuning? Yes There is a water temp correction map 7. Anything else that you can think of that you would like it to have or that a Power FC has? i use the data sampling option a fair bit which allows you to log the afm's then cut and paste these values into the airflow output map, this then allows you to remove the afm and fine tune via your normal process. It has a timing offset set function for the datalogger. its also has a speed correction map also. launch control that actually works unlike my datalogit system lol but i built my bridge years ago
  16. nothing.... it is disconnected.
  17. forgot to mention you lose traction control (a given since the TB controls it).... i hate it anyway
  18. factory boost solenoid?
  19. i just did our 26 all products from local autobarn; K&H etch primer VHT engine enamel colour of choice VHT engine enamel clear VHT is the shizzle as it actually cures with heat and is vurtually indestructable if done properly.
  20. sit the clutches next to each other on the floor and measure the diaphram height from the ground, if its the same chances are the carriers will be the same if the new clutch is shorter you need a longer carrier and if it is taller you need a shorter one.
  21. in australia you should add
