  1. Doubt it will fit and shouldn't be doing any modifications to it as it will become unroadworthy... Have you tried wreckers? I know they will charge a bit but if you need it, you need it. I have seen a couple in last 2 months for sale.
  2. Welcome. I saw this car for sale a little while ago. Bluey
  3. Welcome brad, good work on the purchase. Not many in yellow and looks quite nice! Bit of a drive from Newcastle, but I bet it was an enjoyable drive. Good work on the manual

    Hi!

Welcome mate. I am a neighbour and live in Hillside. You will get a lot of useful info here just use the search button as most newbies don't. There are plenty of dealerships in Melbourne so you will have no trouble finding a car.
  5. Tried Nissan?
  6. I was driving one today. Nice car Yea the Q7 does feel as big as it looks, I used to have a landcruiser prado but the Q7 feels much larger. They are a nice car with good punch for its size but you would want it with the price tag.
  7. The reason it may not idle properly is most likely due to the Oil from your turbo going through the motor and fouling your plugs... As far as not going over 2000rpm without 'choking', I don't know what you exactly mean by 'choking' though could be in safe mod which I doubt so I would say it is just way to rich and getting bugger all spark. Take it to a workshop mate. There are plenty of them in sydney and won't cost much to get them to have a look and diagnose whats wrong.
  8. You will get few answers... Safest - standard Ideal - 10psi timebomb - 12psi Some idiots will say 14psi Been covered plenty of times. Most people say 12psi though 10psi on tracks etc but I say 10psi max.
  9. Spotted GTR-6 on ring road tonight.
  10. Spotted XZILLAX this afternoon turning off kings way. Spotted IIICFC 3 times this week in the morning. See you next week
  11. look up Dr drift in search menu It will have all your answers.
  12. Welcome Jason! You may find events and other people in your area here: Queensland Section I'm sure the drive to brisbane for cruises will be well worth it. Shouldn't be much more then 45min-hour?? Nice beaches and bushland up there.
  13. Very nice!! I love em. I reckon go red/blue on calipers if you want em to stand out but I would go black with 'nissan' white. The black will just make them look clean where as I don't reckon stock brakes are big enough to be bright.
  14. We used this method with remote control cars for racing to get a better burn. Helped with response and sorted a few Idling issues out. Saw some good results though took a lot of trial and error. Though a head only cost $8 on one of these I would not bother one bit.
  15. Let me know if you want to part with the emanage
  16. I think it actually is 250ps which is 184kw. Or 250hp which is 187kw Either way its 184 or 187 at the flywheel. GTR are 206kw
  17. I would start off with the pineapple bushes as they are not too expensive and do help with traction a fair bit. These bushes are normally cracked and worn on the older jap cars
  18. Well looks like you forgot to INFORM us of what you really have. $800 is cheap, even if a second hand HKS item (goodluck finding one at that price) You could prob get a bush bearing turbo rebuilt for $1300 Or wait for a second hand Highflow to come along but here ya go: turbo kit Turbo - buy lines, dump etc. turbo Stock turbo's don't "suck", many have lasted 250,000+km and 15years.
  19. Get another $300 and buy a power FC... Then save for tune. Don't buy a cheap turbo, as it will be SHIT and you don't have supporting mods for it. Or buy some second hand coilovers.
  20. If you are looking for a remap then speak to someone such as Dr Drift as he is in Melbourne. You would get anywhere around the 180-190rwkw mark with those mods and a remap.
  21. Certainly worth a look people!! One of the cleanest Series one's let alone skylines around. Good luck with the sale champ
  22. There sure is a lot of Helpful topics on here!! I'm sure you will work out who knows their shit on here. Just be careful what you absorb as there are a few cases of the blind leading the blinding here.
  23. Series 2 for sure. Very nice car, good price. Good luck with the sale.
