  1. Sounds like axle tramp then. I know of a few people that have had this problem and most of them due to the rear cradle bushes I believe. Anyhow once they bought 'Pineapples' the axle tramp went away. This does not mean that it will be the bushes but generally these bushes get old and are a main factor. It could also be rooted shocks, do you have a minispool? Lowered springs on standard shocks?
  2. Quad T51R SPL turbos?? This wouldn't happen to be yours would it Turbo Piston?
  3. Good on ya mate. You got some decent results. Only thing I find weird is that you proceeded to tune the car with a boost leak instead of fixing it? Now your going to have to get another tune once you fix? If it was so simple as a cooler pipe why didn't the guys at BPS fix it before tuning (or when they found it)? It will be good to see the Dyno sheets once you can attach them.
  4. I will grab castor rods if you still got them and they are not leaking or no major cracks... Give me a PM on full price to Melbourne - 3037 and your number. Then we can organise payment. cheers
  5. May be axle tramp... Bumpy like spongy/bouncy or more aggressive and violent like shudders?
  6. This turning into a best burnout thread? I can't help myself. :laughing-smiley-014:
  7. Hate to sound like a worry wart though if someone said this about my car I would be a little concerned. Fair enough to spot it but the comment about being there all the time is little concerning with amount of cars going missing these days. Not having a go at you just think this could be edited. Security parking or not. On a lighter note, spotted purple GTR33 on green gully rd/sunshine ave 9:30pm tonight
  8. I will be up from melbourne that weekend for a wedding on sat so wont make it to the show though If you organise a cruise up there for sunday I am in for sure!!
  9. Its late so I will call you tomorrow regarding turbo, but If noone has got in by now 1st dibbs.
  10. I know you can get clear ones from: Clear Indicators If your not after that then just look at state threads for wreckers.
  11. Cheers. I have found out which Routes I can take, the point of this topic was just peoples experiences on how reliable it is. I start my new job on Monday and I will be going by train. I will start getting there earlier at the start until it becomes 'acceptable' to blame the train and take the risk of hoping they run on time
  12. Love the R8, would never get in in convertible.
  13. Congratulations Man! If you don't mind me asking what are you looking at approx. complied? Can't wait to see some pics when you get it!
  14. Hey James there is a Wanted to Buy thread just in case you didn't know Wanted to Buy thread This will either be closed or moved I would say.
  15. Welcome John, Good to see the old blokes still 'Hooning' about. My old man still has it in his blood, He wants a 32GTR. Nice line up of classic cars you've had there!
  16. Good work on the new buy!!! Looks real clean and nice choice of wheels! Keep an eye out for the meets in the Victoria section.
  17. Do you know who you are getting to tune it?
  18. Well seeing as though you spent $20,000++++ I'm sure I can afford petrol money Plus 2 red bulls
  19. Noiceeee!! You picking me up from work next week???
  20. My other option is the tram from flinders to stop 43 Brighton rd/Glen Huntley This may take longer "by the timetable" though if there are less hassles it may benefit. I am trialling the journey tomorrow morning and then again Thursday to see how I go. I worked out driving to be close to $100/week + toll Versus $20 zones 1+2. On a 1st year wage I will try to catch the train as much as possible
  21. Just after feed back on Melbourne's Public transport. Being more specific I will be looking to catch the train from Sydneham to Flinders st station in the morning around 6:40am, then from Flinders st onto the Sandringham line. Being from Sydney, the transport up there is quite bad, Trains are all over the place, so I drove almost everywhere. I hear Melbourne is much better but to what extent I don't know. Do many people here have problems getting to work on time? Do either of these lines have bad "reputations"? Cheers Bluey
  22. I have never seen a GTR with a sunroof. I could be wrong but I have never seen one and been told by several people that they don't come with factory sunroofs.
  23. looks like stretched tyres - drift look. Wonder if its been drifted. I know tyres don't say that but it is one negative on my books. Also sunroof isn't factory so will want to hope it doesn't leak. Noone is going to be able to help you out much at all as we are only judging by pics... "Oh thats clean" is no where near good enough advice to buy a car. Best off going ahead of it yourself or getting someone local to you to have a look at these cars. If you are buying one from japan then it isn't all a guessing game but you need to find a broker you can trust (if there is one)
  24. Can get your clutch from here: Kudos Motorsport I got mine from him, Great price and quick delivery! As far as getting it done, look here and give some people a call: WA workshops
