  1. There is no hard and fast rule as to the setting. Each engine will respond differently to changes in cam timing. Let your tuner and the dyno tell you where the cam timing needs to be for best performance.
  2. Heres some more good words for ya. f**koff you dangerous idiot.
  3. lol, Hey Jas, you have another drunk shane warne text.
  4. I.m running +12 volk gtc in 18 inch on the front of mine. The 6 pot alcons fit with room to spare. Its not even about offset. Its about disc clearance. R type disc I think is what you need.
  5. I left early with the dreaded lurgy doin the rounds atm Todman. I did hear a rumor this morning that the giant boys dropped in to the 52 second bracket tho. If its true that is just stunning.
  6. I wouldnt, I can enjoy qr a lot slower than that. 58.6 in my whale actually. I'm an old man according to most on here but I do marvel when those dudes come hurtling past me and can only imagine how much fun that must be. Speak to them next time you come to time attack and ask them yourself, They'll tell you how much fun it is.
  7. Harry you are not even trying to grasp what i am saying. Stick to morgan and the lake man. whatever works for ya.
  8. Farken ROFL! Those guys are all in the 53/55 second category Harry.
  9. So what times did you run harry?
  10. Do your homework mate. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Il...lp-t247731.html
  11. Yeah Doof, cut it out. We dont need 2 cockheads crappin on about ecu's
  12. You.re missing the point harry. I am in complete agreeance with you on the more technical tracks. I love morgan and when I shut the car up enough I look forward to going back to the lake for the first time in over 30 years. However, By having a powerful car it simply adds another string to your bow, Tracks like qr become very technical indeed if you can generate enough speed. Proof positive is the fact that you dont like qr whilst hardcore flat out racers like the giant boys, Evo cam, Darren henig etc etc are there as often as they can be. By having very fast cars they simply add to their enjoyment and versatility. It aint hard to turn the boost down to go run the other tracks but without some major modification you cant do the reverse.
  13. One day when you have a car with some real grunt you'll understand why we do like qr Nod. Its a power track baby, Probably the safest track in the country and ample opportunity to give it the beans.
  14. Most of us will be at time attack at qr on wednesday Nod. Will definitely be doing morgan again in the near future tho. great track.
  15. I knew you would turn up sooner or later ya old prick.
  16. 54 and luvin it. When I grow up I wanna be a kid.
  17. Looks like a lambo with a veilside bodykit.
  18. Uhmmmmmmm...................no.
  19. Theres a stroker kit already available from Brian Crower ex usa. Takes it out to 5.1 litres. The existing twin cam head looks like a derivative of the 25 neo head to me. I am guessing all the potential is already there for big valve and port job etc.
  20. They could probably be bored way past 2.8 litre as well. Being diesel they will have much thicker cylinder walls.
  21. I have one in my patrol and boy I spend some time eyeing it off with a view to something evil.

    Qld Suck!

For those who say nsw didnt try you must have watched a different game to me. The second half was the most brutal 40 minutes of footy I have ever seen. the cockroach carnts threw everything including the kitchen sink at the wounded canetoads but they would not say die! Without a doubt the gutsiest effort I have ever seen. Eat shit and die you cockroach pricks.
  23. The RSR has a softer compound and a stiffer sidewall than the original RS. The diference is noticeable. Still the best bang for buck semi out there imo.
  24. Rotors sound like shit, 4 bangers sound like a fart. Good v8's rumble and get every body warm and fuzzy but nothing, Not even other in line six's raise the hair on the back of my neck like the roar of an angry RB. Even the fabled 2J pales in comparison to the unmistakeable sound of a hot RB. In line six's FTW!
