  1. Must have been a typo Ian, Your original post said "2ml" longer
  2. Buyer disapeared. Cam shaft is back up for sale.
  3. Harldy! Most of them are there so daddy can live his dream through the kids. There is a place for the JD's but major meetings are not it. They bore the crowd shitless. and take just as long if not longer to stage than the top fuellers. I was looking forward to this meeting but 87 of those annoying little f**king pissants has me thinking twice about attending. The rape package at the front gate doesnt do much to encourage enthusiasts either.
  4. OOps. wrong model. sorry.
  5. Mate those things are about as rare as vegemite. Same colour too.
  6. Both harnesses sold. reo and skirts still available. Will take reasonable offers.
  7. Itas a "JEEP" thing Merli...You wouldnt understand.
  8. X2 Fatman. cuppla mates in the trade made the fatal mistake. Harder than aids to get rid of too.
  9. They also make a motza out of spare parts for the unreliable pieces of shit. I did 480 kay on the little 3 litre patrol towing every day of its life and living on the redline at the same time. I did 740 K on the rd 28 driving it excactly the same. current patty is a 4.8 litre petrol job that redefines torque. Nothing slows the fokka down. Couldnt live with the fuel bill at first so I put an ecu and a full extraction exhaust system on the bitch and its all good now. Be very very wary of the 4 cylinder 3 litre turbo diesel. It was the biggest mistake nissan ever made. Any of the 6 cylinder variants are good to go including the TD28 that everybody shitcanned. I loved that little engine. it fought well above its weight and went the full 15 rounds.
  10. I've towed all my working life and there is only one.... patrol. Not quite as refined as a tojo but oh so much more reliable and durable. 6 patrols and 2 tojo's in 30 odd years makes it an easy decision for me. They both tow well but get your wallet out to repair gearbox's and transfer cases in the tojo. All I could ever spend on the patty's was new brake pads, tyres, and a zorst every cuppla years, Freakin bomb proof.
  11. kep up the good work John. I've always believed a well set up rwd would own an AWD on the strip. There are gtr's out there with years more development than your car that cant run those numbers. I hope you dont ignore this car when you get the new ride up and running. Would love to see where it ends up.
  12. Gearbox sold. Engine still available.
  13. Good to hear Jarrod. Just remember, if your experience is anything the same as mine you will need to bleed it regularly to keep it in tip top working order. Big thanks to Dan at Elite racing developments for putting us on to the pressure bleed technique. It made all the diff. (pun intended)
  14. I have a polished metal one if you are still looking.
  15. Gearbox Sold subject to payment.
  16. It can do for the right money.
  17. Holy shitballz John, That looks more like a rich aunt than a "sister"
  18. Jebuz mate you've had a rough trot with that gearbox. Good luck with the outcome.
  19. RB25 from a 95 gtst wqith 70 k on the speedo. Cold compression is 155 lb give or take 3 lb across all 6 cylinders. Its a good engine. I will sell the engine complete including exhaust side with manifold and turbo and dump and the intake side including plenum injectors etc. Price for complete engine, $1500.00 OR... I will sell the bare long engine no hot side no cold side sump to tappet cover for $1000.00 RB25GTST gear box in very good nick. No crunches whines or wierd noises. Includes shifter. $1250.00 Engineis still in the car and will be for another week or so for anybody wishing to do a compression test etc. Location is Ipswich. QLD. Obviously I would prefer pickup but if you wish to make your own transport arrangements that is fine by me. PH. 0413 863207
  20. Nope. because I aint taking it off.
  21. I have one. 15 bucks and its yours. You take it off the car. You break it. you own it. In Ipswich.
  22. Dont knock it till you've tried it. I got stung many years ago (showing my age here) in Sydney by a cop in a cooper S with surfboards on the roof. I was driving a cooper s myself at the time and thought he just wanted to play. Had a look at his car while he was writing me up and lo and behold, the surboards were actually bolted to the roof wracks. Getting booked interstate wasnt so bad in those days as there was no loss of license points. Just the fine.
