the new fords and hsv's are nice but they still have to sort their obesity out

at the end of the day turbos will always be the winner in my eyes. i do like the sound of an an 8 too. for instance a mildly worked gen3 with small cam package/ heads will go awesome on the track but not for street. A turbo will go just as hard without the heads and cams being done and half the price, maybe even better. my 2 cents

check the sticky thread that nismoid created. you could probably achieve what you want to do with the stock turbo. search harder.

problem should be solved next week. i ordered a set of jjr camber arms. gettin em put in along with a new clutch

just ordered a set of jjr ajustable camber arms.

got my new tyres today and i got a printout of my camber settings. still standard suspension but just compressed springs. they are at left 2.10 right 2.10 i do like to race at calder sometimes. is this camber pretty good for straight line runs or do i need ajustable camber arms?? i dont know much about this so any help would be much appreciated

and another thing.. would ajustable camber arms be necessary because they checked it and it was -2 camber

i just got them on. i rekon there pretty good. if i launch at 2700 i get only a little chirp. if i take off at 3+ then im spinnin heaps. 2nd gear with my other 18's on a roll on id spin now i dont

gettin my new tyres on tomorow. went for the maxxis MAZ1's all round. size for rear 265/35/18 and 245/40/18 in the front. hopefully there as good as they say they are anyone had any experience with these?

i dont know what parts were put in but he said it has 2 thrust bearings for better strength??? the same housings were used from the slide hiflow and have been ported slightly larger if that helps. paid top dollar for it so id imagine the parts would be good.

been reading up and couldnt find the answer. im just abit paraniod before upping my current boost from 13 psi. My boost comes to about 1 bar now and drops to 13psi by 7000rpm id like to get into track work and run constant 17-18psi in the future. And bear in mind i dont run a ebc or bleed valve. only off my actuator because it is a street car also. ive had one fail on me before with service intervals at 10,000 k's. Now they are every 5,000 as i now have been informed. need some opinions as i have spoken to the manufacturers and they told me 18psi should be fine. Just dont want it to blow again. This turbo is an MTQ hiflow on my r33 gtst. thanks in advance.

hey queenslanders just finished holidaying in surfers. had an awesome time and the amount of imports i saw amazed me. i had a hyindai getz for a rental.lol. i followed a r33 cause i saw many import cars that night.lost him as my pos car couldnt keep up. i turned off the hiway into some big carpark and i seen shitloads of import cars. was awesome to see. stayed there for a while havin a look. Im so surprised there was no cops picking on you guys. if that was in victoria 80% of cars would of had a defect. i wanna live there!!!

just got back from queensland! so now its time to get my clutch and a set of good street tyres. for the rears im after 18inch 255/40/18's. what would best suit grip needs and how much? gettin some ajustable camber arms too so i hope it all works for the best thanks .

if you guys want to do it again il come n meet up also. will be a few weeks though as my clutch crapped itself
