no boost leaks what so ever. it had a boost leak test

im using a gizzmo ibc. with updated software. car was at creatd for 3 days being tuned. head tuner from gizzmo was also tuning my car. it wasnt a ebc problem.

as topic states. i have a sliding performance hiflow. non max oversize and she runs out of puff at 16psi on my 33 gtst i thought they were rated to 19 psi? im not very happy. fixed the leaking plenum and runing 17...drops to 16 through the rev range. it dosent make any more power after 16. only managed 231 rwk @ 16psi. i have all the supporting mods too..injectors,z32afm...ect. i was expecting alot more out of this turbo. anyone else have this problem? cheers

to answer ur question just check the turbo out first.. shaft play ect. if u find a good one and its cheap go for it second hand in good nick should see about 1 grand

has anyone had an injury and cant drive their pride n joy... well i cant drive my car for atleast 3-6 months til i get better. left arm is out of action and i can only drive my auto family car. its been 5 days and im frustrated already. was at the gym last week when disaster struck. A loud pop from my chest muscle...result: a huge tear from my pec to my sholder, and a damaged tendon so much pain and swelling/ bruising car is at the dyno tuners and i wont get a chance to drive her when shes ready too.. sucks just thought id post this up as im havin a whinge. thank god i bought a xbox. cheers

yea lol like the time i complained my hiflow wouldnt line up and i had to line up the housings. And i was at fault for "bending the oil lines". load of crap. now im "banned from dealing with sliding performance" lmao. like i care.. want real service talk to Amec cheap and reliable turbos too

the boost controller has been in for a while.... we'll see how it goes next week, hopefully they can sort it out

ive changed it to an atmo one and was still doin it. now ive modded my stock one... read up abit..page 6 i think. i even blocked it off all together with a coke can lol... still the same

this was with the leakin plenum gasket. previously i made 241 on the same boost a week ago. but yea couldnt hold 16 psi this time either

they ran compressed air through the air filter hose. no leaks what so ever. air was extremly tight
