sounds like a metalic whine. we revved in neutral to see where it was comin from then i heard tapping from the motor like osmthing went inside it. after another rev it stopped. still whiney
went for a drive today and i gave it a few squirts. nothing major.
boosted fine. As i took off from the lights i boosted to about 10 pound in 1st and then just nothing..... had no boost at all after that in 2nd. not even 1 pound boost.
checked all the cooler piping and i couldnt hear a vaccum leak whatsoever. when i drove home i could hear a slight whine.
help please
your new so just bear in mind theres a search function for next time.
and i wouldnt be chasing 300rwk right away as you jumped from an integra to an r33 gtst. do it up slowly and get used to the power. if your intentions are to use it as a street car then good luck getting traction
good luck
lol probably 10 k to get 300rwk out of a r34 gtt. ecu, turbo, injectors, exhaust, fmic, bigger fuel pump. it never ends man.
dont forget brakes and suspension. you dont wanna end up smacking into something
if he fixes the leak in his stock bov the curve would also be smoother. i think its an air fuel problem. perhaps get another rb25 afm and see if it helps. get a printout of your a/f ratios. if its too rich as one of my dyno's were in the past it wont make much power.
if he cant find the problem take it to another tuner
dude thats crap ( no offence) but 240 rwhp is like 180 rwk. at 15 pound on that turbo you should be expecting atleast 220 rwk which is like 300rwhp.
i think your injectors are letting you down.....but in another case i made 209rwk on 13 psi with the same setup as you.
maybe your bov is leaking more than you suspect, if not call slide
hope u get it all sorted
