  1. Spotted damo on fullarton road around 6.30 tonight.
  2. Hmm, sounds like a tedious job! I might leave it for now and get my mechanic to have a look next time i'm around there. Thanks for the input.
  3. Hey guys, having a problem with the trip meter. Not sure when it started, but lately has been resetting itself back to 0 km every now and again. Was happening a while ago and have since replaced the battery and seemed to go away for a while. Doesn't seem to affect the odo at all, just the trip comp. If anyone can help or point me to a previous thread (tried searching) would be a great help. Its not hugely inconveniant, i use it to monitor my fuel usage, just want to know if there may be a bigger underlying problem....
  4. I think my mrs wants to get rid of hers. I'll ask tonight and shoot you a PM.
  5. http://www.ironchefimports.com/site/index....5&Itemid=30 $88,000 apparently!
  6. Need to borrow some working splitfires (or equivalent aftermarket coils) for a R34 RB25, i think my original ones are on the skids and want to make sure before i fork out $500 for a new set. Can hook you up with beer/cash for your time. Thanks.
  7. Black (or dark blue - sun was in my eye!) 32 gtst with P plates on kensington road about 5.15 last night. Exchanged waves!
  8. When you get flashed, that is them obtaining pictorial proof that you are breaking the law. If your not the driver then it is up to you to prove that, but the fine is for the "car" speeding and because its registered in your name, YOU will be fined. It sucks but that's the way it is. If you can get some names together man, go for it, but otherwise your stuck up shit creek with no paddle.
  9. That'd be me.... on the way to golf! Ah, easy saturdays
  10. +1, sorry buddy but unless you have some names and addresses or some kind of proof that you were not driving, saying to a magistrate that "Bill was driving my car at the time" will not cut it.
  11. Not gonna do that again then is he? I think he learnt his lesson
  12. Yeah i like the chaining idea! At the end of the day, I think the most effective method of prevention is to make it as hard as possible for them to take it. If they have to unbolt chains and rip through club locks or find kill switches or pulled fuses for fuel pumps then its gonna take them 30mins or more to get it away and chances are they will just forget it and move on to the next car... well, hopefully.... azzafreddy, as for your mate, i guess all he can do is be on the lookout for any parts that may have been off his car. Did he have any 'unique' or 'custom' parts specific to his car, that may be your best bet... on the lookout for a yellow r33 shell might be a start.
  13. Think i spotted DSTROY on north east road last night around 6ish??
  14. Hey guys as topic states i'm after a place that cleans and flow tests injectors, having fueling problems at the moment and trying to eliminate one thing at a time. Any help would be appreciated.
  15. Lol, seems like "a current affair" is getting as bad as "today tonight" these days with their bullshit blown out of proportion stories that go for easy targets in the community.... i have just one thing to say..... There are always 2 sides to the story, and the one they show you will often be the wrong one! Thanks for posting that link.
  16. Black 32 stopped at the lights on frome road in the city, had custom plates (not sure what was written) but plate was black with gold writing. Looked clean as!
  17. Could get out and run faster than a 318i. +1 for the S13 SR20DET, parts for these are cheap as chips these days plus when you crash it no-one is gonna be upset that another ugly silvia is gone!
  18. apparently their $180,000 now... was speaking to the owner of main north nissan and he dropped that bomb on me.... gotta save an extra $40g's to get one now!
  19. Blue R34 GTR Vspec 2 on goodwood road last night around 7.20pm. Looked and sounded MAD!!
  20. ... and when your in an airplane taking off and you think to yourself "my car has more torque than this thing"!
  21. Ok thanks for the reply mate, will get under there tonight and have a look cos i'm sure not taking it into him again. But i must admit, i didn't ask to see the old one. Its something that i usually do with my mechanic and he will willingly show me everything he's changed (my mechanic changed it the first time), but this was an actual auto-electrician who did it this time.
