Ya mate, patience, it will come. Welcome, nice car
  3. haha, that makes sense. I guess I better get trollin' if I want a taste of that sweet sweet air.
  4. I can hardly see you up there! SO high omg.
  5. lol I'd go out of my way not to talk to these people...
  6. We must all look like ants down here from up on that podium.
  7. If you don't think bad press reflects badly on the rest of us, I don't know what fantasy world you are all living in. It is however something we have to live with given our choice in cars and modifications. It doesn't take away Birds right to bitch and moan about it tho. I have no love for bad press for Skylines, when I bought my first Skyline it was like Utopia compared to now.
  8. Interesting thread. Mine's been mounted on the passenger side since I got my front bar years ago. I was unsure of the legality but I have never been hassled about it.
  9. /interested Ive been meaning to do it forever. Some friendly motivation will help a bunch. I've always wanted to go solo first up, but I reckon if SAU sky dive was set up I'd probably do w/e everyone else is doing.
  10. I've had mine go click click click before!
  11. sorry... chris was logged in... pm'd hamish
  12. All true Charles, but it is a sad state of affairs. Euro sports cars FTW. That's where I'll be next for sure. All the power and handling with none of the hassles.
  13. Might have been said already but those EPA fines for ciggie butts out the window generally do not stand up in court if you can be bothered taking it that far. It is your word against another layman's word.. I know of a number of people who have taken it to court and won. It's also a negative though, as I reckon people who do throw butts out the window deserve a fine. I, however, am not willing to suck it up and pay it if I haven't done anything wrong.

Congrats Graeme. Jag's are made by Ford now aren't they? Regardless, I would love a supercharged XF as a daily. I reckon they're pretty sexy and they go ok for a 2 tonne sedan. X-types are a nice little sedan too.
  15. Non-chrome RE wheels, SAU sticker, stock headlights, legal(or very close) exhaust volume, factory white paint, no guage on a-pillar, Bride seats that do have a purpose, and a tasteful, functional ride height - extremely moderate fitment. I think you've got me mistaken for someone else! Anyway it's not like I am hounded by the 5-0, I just don't think it's as easy as saying IF you are complying with the law that they will leave you alone, as it is clearly not always the case.
  16. I gotta say West, although generally I get left alone, I feel like I've been stalked/pulled over for nothing, and I am clean as a whistle in terms of police/driving records. Maybe I am just paranoid. Agree 100% though, after market BOV is a real give-away and totally unnecessary in most cases.
