  1. Im so happy im not the only one that talks to their skyline haha My ex used to always get up me saying i loved my car more than her.......and i always agreed with her
  2. Nope, works perfectly. You cut the wire and good bye 180 speed limit
  3. Wow that's different! Is it an actual full carbon fibre plenum though or is it like a metal one covered in a carbon fibre wrap or something? Either way, looks great.
  4. Hey mate, where abouts did you take it to in Townsville to get the work done? How did the results go?
  5. Go to Autobarn (Dam i wish i got paid overtime for the promotion i do )
  6. Good stuff dude! Glad to hear it all went well, especially that kind of power output on only 16.5psi, your making me want my GT-RS even more now!! It should be here anyday now
  7. Hahaha and 25psi if u need an excuse for the misses to do an engine rebuild
  8. HAHAHAHA thats awesome! Yeah i always thought they did fark all
  9. Can u just replace the sender or something? Its just i allready have 2 gauges in my car in a pillar, and would rather not get another gauge (oil pressure) to just chuck somewhere on the dash. If its just the sender, would a new sender fix the problem instead of getting an aftermarker oil pressure gauge?
  10. Hmm sounds a bit suss to me, if not though those are good prices. Very interested in the Power FC if its still for sale.
  11. Cheers dude, ill have to check mine out.
  12. Hmm interesting, i used to get similar things with really low oil pressure. It would only do it now and then, like once a week. I would be sitting at a traffic light or something and then suddenly my oil pressure would go down to like zero and id be like but there were no signs of any problems so i never thought much of it. Hmmm might check my sender aswell. Where is the actual sender located? Im looking at that pic and have no idea where that is??? (Below the intake runners??)
  13. F**k yeah!! When's NFS:Pro Street ment to be due out on the PS3?
  14. Yep, exactly right. The BOV is pretty much causing a vacuum leak and causing your car to stall. Been covered a million times. I see this happen a lot with cheap knock off BOV's and your better of in investing in a brand name one where you can adjust the spring tension.
  15. Yeah no worries dude ill let you know. Ill just be running the standard ECU and standard injectors for now and see how far i can push that setup. If it's not good enough for the time being ill chuck the SAFC on there untill i get some money for a Power FC and 550cc Nismo injectors. Then the fun will begin
  16. Definetely have to agree with Nismoid. How much power are you making at the moment and how does the car feal? You are better off investing in a highflow or something in the likes of that to get you more power. Cams dont have to always give you more power, but usually just bring the power on better throughout the rev range. On a stock turbo set up the difference you will get from cams will be very minimal and honsetly you wont be happy with forking out a couple of grand with labour on a modification that isn't going to do much on your setup. Go the turbo option at the moment, get all the necessary add-on modifactions to go without, then if you want to get more out of the setup go the cams.
  17. Yeah agreed. With that sized turbo that you are using and the modifications that you allready have, your pretty much limited in what you can do. You've pretty much allready got all your main bolt ons and with the option of having to have to do a rebuild, an RB30 bottom end or a stroker kit is the only thing other than a set of cams that will decrease your spool time. Only other option is to go a smaller turbo but if you have to do a rebuild anyway, just go the RB30 bottom end.
  18. Power FC's are hard to come by on the R33 GTS-t as you can't get them new anymore, so people ask quite a bit of money for them. This ranges from about $1300-$1800 depending on where you look (ebay or for sale section on SAU etc). Still it's a good value for money as most places are experienced with tuning them. This means you might save money in the tuning (might pay 4 hours of tuning instead of 8 hours of tuning for an ECU the workshop isn't familiar with). So yeah that would be the best bet for an ECU. A tuned ECU will bring the spool on a lot earlier so this would be a good start What else is done to your car engine performance wise?
  19. First of all what turbo are u running at the moment cause 5000rpm is pretty laggy so im guessing its a big turbo?? Best bet for ECU would be a power FC if you can get ur hands on one, if not than the microtech is a good option for a direct replacement ecu. Emanage Ultimates seem to be doing pretty well for piggyback units these days so that could be another option. For engine block mods, yeah forged pistons, conrods and bearings would be a good upgrade as said. A set of cams tuned well will bring power on earlier so this will help ur spooling issue if you want to keep the turbo you have at the moment.
  20. Im waiting on my GT-RS as we speak (should be here in a week), its a direct bolt on to everything and comes with new lines that you will have to put on. To get the most out of it you will need an aftermarket ECU and bigger injectors (550cc will be enough). Shouldnt need a fuel pressure regulator if you get the bigger injectors but it can help for tuning. Head gasket is not really needed to lower compression untill u start getting near 270-300, even then some people dont go a different head gasket. Good turbo choice
  21. That's good then, cause it looks freaking sweet on 360
  22. My friend had a Blitz DD on his car, then bought a Greddy type S to put on. Took me for a drive in it, and it sounded identical. After about a month of use it started to make a little whistle half way through the blow off that sounded allright. So my point is they pretty much sound the same
  23. I got Resistance, Oblivion and Fear. All are pretty sweet and Oblivion got pretty addictive at one stage. I played The Darkness the other night at my mates on 360 and it was F**kin awesome as!! Best graphics i have seen on a video game so far and the realism in the way you shoot and move around has to be seen to be believed. Comes out on PS3 soon so definetely get that, its worth it.
