  1. +1 With some little ad on lips and shit.
  2. Why would you say it has a RB20 in it?
  3. Lol only workshop is my garage man Yep Nistune is good value for money. Depends how far you plan on going with mods I suppose.
  4. Hmmm I like your USB idea very much! Make sure you post pictures of it once it is done.
  5. Good point
  6. Yeah he did, turned out good
  7. Your going to be very unhappy then. As has been said 230kw is doable from one pushing it as hard as it can go. Friend had a HKS 2535 Kai on his and the most that ever saw was high 230s/low 240s.
  8. I remember reading somewhere that Skyline glass isn't that thick and therefore the windows don't actually weigh that much so going to Lexen is really only for the top track cars chasing every last kilogram.
  9. Way, WAY off. R33 factory seats have a combined weight of around 18-19kg (have weighed them). Aftermarket reclinable seats give around 6-7kg weight saving. Fixed back carbon seats will be around 10kg weight saving. The weight of the sliders and rails is nearly 1/3 of the weight of each seat. A bit more. Compressor and condensor with hard lines, belt, pulleys etc. is around 17kg. If you start removing all the stuff inside the car it will be closer to 20kg. Going to a braided clutch line and braided brake lines will save you around 1-1.2kg and a little bit less fluid. Two piece brake rotors on the front (even if going bigger) will save you 1-1.5kg each depending on size increase. If you take all the heater gear out of the car and reroute all the hoses you will save a bit of weight there. HICAS lock bar will save you 5kg on a R33. If you can somehow manage to remove the HICAS ECU there is another 1kg maybe.
  10. If that is what it is going to look like from the front im sorry but that looks like aids. Looks just as bad as the V35-R35 kit.
  11. PSN Store is back! Free games here I come
  12. Also here is a thread of a guy installing one into a Seat with plenty of photos: http://www.seat-leon.de/vboard/showthread.php?t=70056
  13. Group Buy now open: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/366505-modern-leather-led-illuminated-gear-knobs-group-buy/
  14. GROUP BUY CANCELLED Hey again guys Finally putting up the group buy for the gear knobs I posted up in the cosmetic section a little while back: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/360898-modern-skyline-gear-knobs/ The gear knobs are made in Germany by a company called Innovative car-tech. They make aftermarket gear knobs for all the luxury euro cars so therefore they are very high quality. The icing on the cake is the fact the H pattern on top of the gear knobs illuminates in the colour of your choice. This is something I havn't seen before and it looks very classy without looking to aftermarket. I have always been a fan of a "factory" look interior so I really like these. The reason for the group buy (and not just me buying one for myself) is the fact they only do 12mm and 14mm gear knobs. However because Nissan 5 speeds take a 10mm gear knob these have to be custom made and they require an order of 5. So there are a couple of choices for the gear knobs. Design, illumination colour and H patter style: DESIGN There are three main choices in the design with three sub choices. The sub choices being that each style can either be with chrome (C) or aluminium (A) highlights. All will have the black leather and seen. Click the pictures for animation. Style 1: Style 2: Style 3: ILLUMINATION This basically comes down to the choice of LEDs used to illuminate the H pattern. The choices are: H PATTERN This is the choice of the H pattern on the top. Pretty sure every one will want the normal 5 speed layout So they are the choices and what they look like. Quite good I think and definetely something a bit different. Now there is only one small downside to these. The internal shaft is a smooth 10mm that is made for cars that don't have a thread on the gearstick. Basically they are just glued on and allen screwed into place. A lot of cars are like this. However since Skylines have a thread this means that we will have to tap our own M10x1.25 thread. It really isn't that big of a deal, but some people might be put off by it. I can however do it for them prior to sending them out if they really don't want to do it themselves. Due to this I will only do the minimum order of 5. So me and the four other people will be the guinea cops to make the threads and see how they sit. I can not gaurantee how high/low they will sit as this will depend on the threads we make. I really don't see it being a big problem but I wanted to mention it just in case. Price for the group buy shall be $115 Express Post Delivered Australia wide. So the group buy starts as of tonight and will be open for two weeks - 16.06.11 - or until numbers fill. After the group buy is closed at 5 people, I will collect the money from every one within a weeks time and transfer it to Germany. Once they are made they will get sent to me and I will express post them to every one as always. This group buy hopefully should go smoothly as they are made directly by this supplier and hopefully there shouldn't be any problems (famous last words!). If you could please write your choice as follows to make it easy: Style Number, Chrome or Aluminium, LED colour, H pattern Example: Style 1A, Red, 09 Any questions feel free to ask. Cheers Phil BUY LIST 1. PMR33 - Style 1A, Red, 09 2. SKINS - Style 3C, Blue, 09 3. 5HIV - Style 3C, Blue, 09 4. ..... 5. .....
  15. Side Mount Intercooler.
  16. I pushed mine to 263rwkw on 20psi dropping off to around 17-18psi by redline (tuner didn't really do anyting with the boost controller so perhaps may have been able to hold 20 if setup right). Only reason I could't try to run a little bit more was that the old Microtech had a 20psi MAP sensor. But yeah 18psi is about the sweet spot of the GTRS. Above that the only gains are in the midrange (because if setup nicely it will be on 20psi before 4000rpm), but not peak.
  17. Fantastic post as always Roy. Cheers.
  18. As Marc said. Rattle could be an exhaust leak or could be a collapsed cat.
  19. Cya there dude.
  20. Interesting, might give that a go to see how they are. Cheers.
  21. Brake and clutch pedals will be here any day now. ETA on those footrests being available in Japan is still the 10th of this month. I wasn't going to fit the accelerator pedal until the whole set were here (and to be fair since you guys don't have yours yet) but after rehab2010's post I wanted to make sure it did fit.
  22. They also cost more
  23. Bit of an update as to the current delay. They were all ready to send but then Steve noticed that they had put the red and blue fittings on instead of the black fittings! So they have to change them all over. Will let you know any more updates as they come in. Shouldn't really be that much longer I would think. Steve sends his appologies for the fuck up and realises that we are waiting out for these. I seriously have the worst luck when it comes to these group buys Definetely think i'm going to do things differently from now on for future group buys.
