  1. Yeah that's normal. They are a Mitsubishi item.
  2. Front timing cover won't fit due to VCT. Cam covers and coilpack cover will fit but you will have to slightly reroute the breather lines. However why would you want to go from RB25 covers to RB20 items? The RB25 ones look better. Just get yours powder coated or just spray them.
  3. Funny that it has a Neo timing belt cover though
  4. Nope I emailed him though.
  5. Has the Vipec got a full proper tune on it? If you hit a limit on it (ie. boost limit, going off of the map etc), it usually does a fuel cut which will be like hitting a wall.
  6. Well a metal CAS would mean it isn't a NEO since they all run the plastic one.
  7. Nistune would be your cheapest option. Not sure on exact price since I have never had one but from reading on the forums they are under $1000. Upgrading the turbo will lead to a lot more money being spent.
  8. Damn that sucks to hear. Made in Taiwan though, so can't expect perfection. Can you machine the rotor or something? Or am I confusing this with warped rotors?
  9. You can get Blitz or Just Jap intercoolers that run through the factory holes without cutting anything so look into that. Your next step really is an aftermarket cumputer and a tune. With 10-12psi and everything else running properly you should see 190-200rwkw. If it is a manual then make sure it doesn't have a stock clutch as that won't last long. EDIT: Paul beat me to it
  10. If it is a normal launch control (as discussed in the other thread) then no it doesn't damage anything (other than wear and tear on box and clutch but that's a given).
  11. Done. Canister is a legal requirement. Vents the fuel tank into the engine. However a lot of people remove them.
  12. The "View new content" button isn't working either so something must be up.
  13. I know
  14. Don't think so but I can ask.
  15. Like $500-$600 normally. Not really that bad.
  16. Yep, pretty much.
  17. That is correct. You are basicilly buying a brand new steering wheel (minus the airbag).
  18. That's what Robson does, not these guys. Basically it is a brand new R34/S15 steering wheel that they send you and you just have to put your airbag into it (S15 or R34). The photo above is the actual R34/S15 steering wheel redone in the carbon and leather. Just waiting on a price back for a group buy.
  19. Differences is mainly in the illumination of all the warning symbols. On the series 1 the background of the icon illuminates in a square. On the series 2 the icon itself illuminates and looks a bit neater. Yes they will fit.
  20. I still really want one. Getting cold now!
  21. Yeah pricing is quite up there with Robson. But their work is top notch so far enough I suppose. These guys are in Japan and assure me they do them in Japan and not in China or Taiwan. Here is a teaser
  22. As far as I am aware yes.
  23. Nah not Robson. I have talked to them about stuff before and while I know their quality is top notch, I simply can't afford the pricing they ask. Also they only do exchange. Therefore you send them the wheel, they modify it and then send it back.
