  1. Hahaha didn't realise you didn't have your brackets yet. I will hopefully get a chance over the Easter weekend break to fit my kit so will post up pics then.
  2. Nope got nothing. He still hasn't heard back from Japan regarding where they are given that they were supposibly sent. Funny how both packages were "ment" to be sent.
  3. My old PS2 did this. Ended up being a f**ked laser and the cost of repair was worth more than the console was at the time. So I just bought another one. PS3 still going strong since first day of release
  4. Very interesting! Is that something that you guys thought of or is it more commonly done? Only reason I ask is I have never heard of doing something like that to achieve an antilag system.
  5. Well I just got mine today so that's every one Thanks for a smooth group buy guys
  6. As I said. As long as it is suited for your vehicle and the steering wheel you intend on fitting it will be fine. It doesn't matter what brand the boss kit is. So yes the HKB brand will be fine.
  7. My god I can't believe I only came across this thread now! Amazing build quality and attention to detail. I think a lot of people don't realise the amount of time and money that goes into R&D and if you have the means to do so (judging by you owning a Z Tune I think your means are more than capable ) then why not. Very eager to see how this goes. Also can you go into a little bit more detail on the compressed air into the manifold via a port on idle? Never heard of this being done and sounds very interesting. Great work
  8. Just got told from Hel about a new product they have for their 19 row oil coolers (unfortunately got told a little to late for this group buy). It's an oil cooler air duct as seen below: Basically allows you to route cold air directly into the oil cooler via some tubing. Good for people that want to mount it somewhere where there isn't a great deal of airflow. Anyway just thought I would show you guys in case any one wanted one. Will most likely do another batch of these oil coolers so if some one wanted one of these they can.
  9. Yep it will.
  10. As long as the boss kit fits the steering wheel and is suited for your vehicle that is all that matters. If legality is a concern just make sure it is the correct legal size for your state.
  11. You heard him Cal.
  12. Anything to do with the timing of the car I would not skimp out on. All it takes is a small failure and it will cost you an engine. Not saying those ebay ones are bad, they might be fine, but is it worth the risk? Your call.
  13. Yeah that's gorgeous.
  14. So just a small update. He still hasn't heard back from Japan regarding where the footrest pedals from there are. But he is sending another batch from the US (everything bar the footrest pedal) and getting a tracking number this time and filing a claim on the others.
  15. Hope not because I will be screwed. Dare say it will be loudest car out of the group.
  16. Hahahhahahahaha shhhhhh let's not go there Also you homo, can you confirm about the reverse lift up thing in your 6 speed, it isn't actually part of the gear knob hey, it's underneath and therfore you can run whatever gear knob you want on it?
  17. My god that is hideous.
  18. I ment the illuminated ones in my first post.
  19. Yeah I don't mind those Duracon Nismo ones. Either way we shall see what this supplier says and if we can get them in a M10 i'll definetely put up a group buy, or just buy one myself.
  20. So I had a bit of a look into this for you Terry. Am I correct in stating that you should be able to use any gearknob because the actual "lift up collar" for reverse is independent of the gear knob itself? The only difference between our ones and yours is that yours is an M12 instead of the M10 thread (lucky bastard!).
  21. Yes from everything I have seen the 5 speed has a M10 thread and the getrag is a M12. Should be very easy. Basically just an earth and power. The power supply can be used as an ignition so it lights up all the time or off of the headlights. I'm going to do it off of the headlights. Bahahahahahah that's insane.
  22. Not really the same thing....but anyway moving on, keep this thread on track.
  23. Ask him what he thinks is reasonable. See what he says. I think $100 is more than fair if he is cool with it.
  24. So I looked up threaded sleeves for like half an hour and it seems the smallest difference they come in is 4mm. Which makes sense, 2mm is not much room to work with. Anyway, I sent an email to the company in Germany to see if they could make them in 10mm if we did a group buy. At the end of the day I don't see why it would be a problem for them to make them in 10mm, so we will see what they say. Will let you guys know. Also I found out a few of the Nismo gear knobs actually have a 12mm and 10mm hole in them so they fit both shafts, perhaps this was the confusion with some people mentioning a 12mm shaft in a R33.
  25. Oh man...
