  1. Sounds good to me man. Can't wait!
  2. There you go. Simple vacuum leak that you fixed yourself. Didn't need to take it to some "pro" mechanic.
  3. Hahaha that's the spirit! Is there a lot of people there yet? I think it will be a very busy weekend in Airlie. Heard that a lot of people are going there for Easter.
  4. See you boys tomorrow. Every one have a safe trip
  5. Double post.
  6. Gives you a rough idea. http://www.amazon.com/FK88395-VFiber-Nissan-Skyline-Inspired/dp/B001V0OIMO/ref=sr_1_98?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1302947895&sr=1-98

Looks good, now some one do it to a real one.
  8. Wow nice pic. Havn't seen that one before.
  9. Definetely a group buy opportunity if PSI Parts can make something even half decent. Should easily be able to get 10-20 people straight up.
  10. Dude if were for a R33 I would buy them in a heartbeat for $1000. Can't believe no one has bought these of you yet man.
  11. Righteo well that definetely points towards an intake leak. While the car is idling just put your fingers around the blow off valve and you should be able to feel the leak. For the idle to jump up and down as much as it is it should be fairly easy to feel the leak.
  12. Seriously are you like 16 years old? You are not txting your boyfriend so type proper english FFS. An afm failing will show similar symptoms of what he described. As will a number of other things including those allready mentioned. Do you even know how an AFM works? Without physically seeing a car and knowing all the details it is semi guess work trying to give advice. Hence why I also seperately asked about the smoke out of the exhaust. Would give more clues without physically seeing the car. You make it seem like every mechanic is an expert. Sorry but no. I would take advice from the forum before taking the advice of most mechanics. Given that there are only a handful of speciality Skyline mechanics in Australia that actually know their stuff and most are on these forums anyway. Given that he has a stock ECU I doubt he has his own tuner. Who said he was going to spend money? He asked for advice, not "what do I need to buy?". Swapping over an AFM with some one elses is a 5 minute job and doesn't cost you a cent. Checking the BOV also doesn't cost you a cent and takes 5 minutes. You act like a child, appear to be unintelligent, have a stupid user name, have been on the forums for less than a month, are starting shit with some one that has been on here and knows about Skylines a hell of a lot more than you and start mentioning forum users as e-mechanics when most of them on here are proper import mechanics, engineers (like myself), tuners or just highly motivated car lovers that enjoy doing every thing them selves. It is YOU that needs to chill and get off his high horse. Your the one that arked up because I called you on your lack of knowledge of what an 02 sensor does. Get over it and grow up.
  13. I'm starting to loose count how many times i've posted this block of text lol.
  14. Height and width they are the size of the 19 row oil cooler but no idea on depth. They are like $70 plus freight. Hahaha yeah I like to make sure what I'm buying is the exact thing I want There are a few people that have messaged me in the last week saying they would really like one ASAP so might do a small order of 5 or something next week after Easter. I'll let you know.
  15. Hence why I asked about the smoke out of the exhaust. If you have an intake leak as bad as what your car appears to have it will be overfueling a lot and you will usually have black smoke coming out of the exhaust. That BOV would have to be leaking hardcore to cause an idle to be that bad ie. be literally completely open.
  16. Good one. Why even mention it then? It just confuses him into thinking it could be a cause. It's like me saying "Yeah man, I had a similar problem and had to get my turbo and afm replaced". Suddenly he will freak out into thinking he needs a new turbo. Comprende ese? "The pro's". Spoken like some one that has no clue about cars. This type of attitude on here will not get you far.
  17. Looks awesome Dave
  18. Lol at suggesting the 02 sensor. Seems some people have no idea what an 02 sensor does. Is there any smoke coming out of the car's exhaust on idle? It really does sound like a faulty AFM.
  19. Wow amazing! About bloody time some one updated the "spark plug". Was actually discussing this with my mate a few months back talking about how there really havn't been any proper advancements in spark plugs for decades other than using precious metals as electrodes.
  20. Very, very well made vid. Also good to see what Ash looks like finally hahaha. Very tidy car man, glad to finally see some footage of it. I think every one has mentioned the key things that could have slightly improved the video. Some more drive by footage, some more "performance" footage (I realise this can be hard to achieve if all you have access to at the time of filming is public roads) and also it should have had a shot of the tacho going to around 8000rpm after you said it But nah was really good man, you should be quite proud.
  21. WHY?! WHY?! WHY?! WHY?! Sell it and put it towards the ECU.
  22. So tempting to chuck them on tonight to have them ready for the Airlie Beach cruise on the weekend.... Just don't want to break something and then not be able to go. Knowing my damn luck that is exactly what would happen
  23. Yeah the BBQ idea sounds good. Whoever has the best hotel (and also easy parking for low cars lol). Rob the fine isn't worth as much as the respect you will get
