  1. Am I the only one that is finding that sentence a bit strange?
  2. You will need a timing light to check it. It's a bit of a pain in the ass.
  3. Where the hell is Julz these days? Havn't seen him on here for months.
  4. Hey guys Been stock piling a bunch of parts in the event I had to build a new engine if mine went bang - always plan for the worst hey - however priorities have changed and slowly I will be selling most of the items off (a lot of Nissan/Nismo items eg. Full engine gasket kit, oil pump, timing belt etc). Also want to buy an oil cooler in an upcoming group buy so would rather a bit of money for that. First thing I will get rid of is my N1 water pump. I have a standard Nissan one on my car and was going to replace it with the N1 item. The N1 item uses 6 larger blades compared to the smaller 8 of the standard item and also runs an anti-cavitation plate. I'm sure you all know what they are. The item is brand new, still in wrapping/original box and also comes with the 4 new studs to hold the fan on. They fit all RB engines and a perfect item to replace while having the timing belt off. Retail at Nissan they are around $500 (I priced it up), most forum traders sell them around $350 + freight. Would like $290 for it. Can be posted Australia wide. 5. Will be doing another batch if all goes well. Have had a few people wanting in since the cut off date.
  6. They should be for the money lol. They are some of the dearest ones they make. It is the superlite 4 piston ones that you see on ebay which are the shit ones. Few threads about them.
  7. Well they have both been sent (from the USA and from Japan) so really im just waiting any day now for it to arrive. I dare say they sent it with the cheapest freight possible so not sure when it will arrive. If they are not here by late next week i'll have to let them know.
  8. You checked the link lately? Bit different now.
  9. We just did a group buy for a kit I put together for the front. Rear is a problem because no Wilwood setup is designed for the Skyline rear handbrake. Been looking into options of a DBA rotor to work in conjunction with a Wilwood caliper but even that is proving to be a problem due to nothing appearing to be suitable.
  10. Don't hold your breath Unless they can gaurantee it aint going to take so long I'm not doing another order.
  11. Yep go a LS1/2. Pretty sure you can get bolt in kits for them in the US (saw them ages ago). Given how cheap they are over there and are a lot lighter than a RB it would be the best choice for something NA and slightly different.
  12. Definetely is. Why did you think it wasn't?
  13. What do you mean? A R33 is a Idle Air Control and Auxilary Air Control valve in one just as the R34 one is. But yeah definetely should have just bought Neo injectors.
  14. Nitrous is air. Therefore it doesn't matter if the turbo's are allready maxed and can't push any more the nitrous is doing the rest of the job.
  15. Love you brah xoxo
  16. That's why Rowan has to fight bitches of his dick with a metal pole. The bitches just can't get enough Yo.
  17. Do it, you wont, you're scared.
  18. Dead set. How about you click on the section of the forum that says FORCED INDUCTION PERFORMANCE and start reading the stickys such as this one: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/66556-forced-induction-quick-ref-guide/ Which is made to stop stupid threads like this being made. Or perhaps searching the millions of threads on this forum that cover anything you could think of. SAU has been around for years and all the information is here. If it aint, make a new topic. Instead of asking such stupid questions and making every one else do the work for you; or in this situation every one taking the piss out of you.
  19. I think there would be no performance increase what so ever. I mainy removed it so I could mount a catch can in it's place and remove a bunch of vacuum lines. I think most people would be removing them due to engine bay tidy up/making more room.
  20. Oh true. What model GTR you going to get?
  21. Yep definetely will work for what you want. For most setups all the brands are just as good as each other. I run a NOS brand one in mine. The main differences between them is the solenoids/jets/nozzles which obviously can be replaced with better quality items down the track should you choose. When my solenoids get a bit old I will replace them with pulsoids from the UK. This is the key factor. Having a safe setup. The horror stories you hear are from unsafe setups. What ECU is in the car? It might be able to control a nitrous setup. Otherwise I would suggest using a window switch that activates and deactivates the nitrous setup at pre determined RPM points once armed. A controller like this will also allow you to have it only activated when at full throttle - TPS above 95% or such. This means you can get rid of the mechanical switch that the kits come with. Download a NOS installation manual and have a read through it. It will give you some of the basics to know about with the two most important being: 1 - Do not hit limiter with nitrous engaged 2 - Do not engage nitrous without full throttle Other good safety precautions (one that I still want to get) is a fuel pressure safety shut of switch. Basically if you lose fuel pressure you will put pure nitrous into your engine and melt it. So the safety switch disengages the nitrous solenoid if fuel pressure falls below a certain pressure. Have a search for some of my posts in the Forced Induction area on nitrous. I made a few long ones in the past with some good explanations of the basics. There is a lot to it and a lot to learn but the more you know, the safer your car will be.
  22. UPDATE All the kits are reaady to send bar one. So I will take the bullet and wait for the final kit while the others get sent out. They are on back order for some parts so it might be another week or more until mine is ready to ship out. Ohwell. So they will get sent out this week, will let you guys know if I get tracking numbers.
