  2. Hello I am looking for 250rwkw from my RB20. Currently I have a RB25 turbo on it and I am wanting to upgrade to a bigger turbo. What cams would be good for this engine? I have a set of HKS 272 9.5lift RB cams sitting around. Would these be good or should I go with the Tomei Poncams? If Tomei which size would be good for my engine? Help please
  3. Hello I currently have a RB25 turbo on my RB20. I am thinking about upgrading to a bigger turbo because I want to hit 200rwk and up. Goal is 250rwk What would be better, high flowing the RB25 turbo? High flowing the original RB20 turbo? Going with a HKS GTRS turbo? 2530 Turbo? Or TD06? I want to have good response and have a fast car. I use the car as a daily driver but I do hit it on the high way sometimes and plan to take it to the track once or twice a year. Help please.
  4. Hello I am buying another R32 GTS-T because the one I have now is dying and would be too expensive to fix. I am wondering if I should change to a RB25 engine after I buy the next car. I plan on going to 200rwkw and higher with mods. On my car now I have a pod, catback exhaust, RB25 turbo. I have a FMIC that I am waiting to install on the next R32 that I am buying as well as putting on the parts mentioned above onto the next car. Which would be better at this point and least expensive to use to build up to 200rwkw and higher, the RB20 or RB25? If I change engines I have to pay for the swap and paper work to make it legal and my road tax with go up higher because I will have a bigger engine. I live in Japan so finding parts is not hard. Help please.
  5. Hello My R32 GTS-T is dying and I am going to purchase another one. The one that I have now is a auto and it has a pod, catback exhaust, and a RB25 turbo on it. I plan to put the parts onto the next R32 GTS-T that I am going to buy. Which would be better performance wise, a auto or manual? I live in Japan so its a daily driver. I plan on doing additional mods to it to reach 200rwkw. Help please.

  7. There are places here, but I dont know where a lot are. Plus they charge crazy money here for a lot of this stuff. I try to put on as much stuff as possible getting help from friends. But none of my friends know how to tune. How can I contact DR. Drift?
  8. Thanks I will finish the exhaust(downpipe, front pipe, better cat) after I get a computer. I will put the smic on within the next two weeks. Busy with work. I will not be able to buy a computer and tune for about 1 to 2 months due to having to use money for something else. Is this fine? I will make sure not to set it about 14 psi.

  10. Noob questions. So most people agree that coppers are better for non-stock cars and they change them often? I have a R32 and I changed the turbo to a Rb33 turbo. Its set at .5 bar now and I will raise it to .8 bar. Does this mean that it is better to start using coppers now? Sorry to hijack thread. Thanks
  11. Cool Why the surge tank? Does the fmic give much lag? The reason I am going with the R34 smic is because I read on this forum that it is about 50% bigger than stock. So its shorter travel for the air to the turbo so hopefully not a lot of lag. What kind of larger turbo are you putting on? What is a nistune flash? Why a safc II instead of a computer? Thanks
  12. Ok So my car is Rated a 160 kw but I get less than that at the wheels. So when people say with the R33 turbo on by R32 will make 180rwkw up too when done right, this means at the wheels correct? Kw is main, but rwkw is smaller actual to the wheels?

  14. Hello I have read peoples results after upgrading their RB20. Upgrades like turbos and fuel pumps and others. Many times I see that their rwkw is something like 140 or 150. I have read also that the stock rwkw for the RB20 in a GTS-T is 160rwkw. So why are people coming out with less than stock and happy about it? Am I missing something? Help

  16. Hello I have a R32 GTS-T. I put a R33 turbo on it. It has a HKS adjustable acuator. I have it set at .5 bar. Going to set it at .8 or .9. I have a catback exhaust, intake. What else should I do next? I have a R34 SMIC that I haven't put on yet. I want to get the most out of this turbo that I can. Should I get a GTR fuel pump or a Nismo 4L pump? Should I put in GTR injectors or Nismo ones or keep stock? Do I need a aftermarket computer now? Should I go with the down pipe/ front pipe? Do I have to tune if so? Later, in the winter time, I will buy a friends TD06 but cant afford it right now. Later going to get Emanage, and FMIC. I have read and read and I really don't know where I should go from here. There is a big improvement in response and speed just from having the R33 turbo on there. Help! I want to do next important upgrading!!! I live in Japan and the area where I live gets only about 30-32 degrees celcius in the summer on average.
  17. I read the thread. I think I understand. So I need to buy a resistor pack for the GTR injectors from Nissan, I live in Japan, rewire everything and it works? The GTR injectors are top feed, the GTS-T are side feed, how are they going to fit? Help
  18. Hello Read this thread and I don't understand anything. I have a R32 GTS-T. I want to put GTR injectors in it but I wonder if buying some Sard or Nismo injectors might be easier. I live in Japan so I wonder if I can just order the resistor from Nissan? If the GTR injectors are top feed and the GTS-T are side feed, how are they going to fit? And to be clear, if I am running stock ecu, I don't need to tune? The mods I have are a R33 turbo and intake and exhaust. Help

  22. I am looking at 300 to 350 rwhp so 250 rwkw should be good. I don't want to have to go through abunch of stuff just to get that. If its easier and cheaper to keep the RB 20 to get this, I will. Friend has a RB25 he wants to sell me for about 300 or 500 dollars. But I would need to find a transmission, wiring, computer and so on. Worth it? I would than still have to buy the parts to make the RB25 get 300 to 350 rwhp Worth it?

  24. I will put in some 272 cams later as well as bigger fuel pump and injectors. I might have to put the fuel pump in soon because one on car now is dying. But will do the rest besides fuel pump in Aug, so what ever put on now, want to make sure the car runs without a tune. Can I put a SAFC tune on myself or a Emanage? Or do I need to take it to a shop? How much would a chip be? I live in Japan. I want to do what I can before I take it to a tuner here.

I am looking at the X Force one because its only 175.00 and I can't afford more than that because I might have to replace my fuel pump soon plus I want to get the R34 SMIC on or a FMIC soon since I have the RB25 turbo on. Don't want to blow another turbo is my goal here. Want to make sure it has enough cooling and exhaust so it will last.
