  2. I am planning on fitting GTR injectors to my 32 GTST but am having trouble chasing up a ballast resistor. I have heard before of homemade devices being made, consisting simply of 6x10ohm resistors. Has anyone done this or does anyone have any information? Also at what power level do std RB20 injectors need replacing? I have heard stories mentioning anywhere from 170-250 rwkw. I do not want to do them unnecessarily at this stage. I am aiming for 200kw
  3. Have an R32 with full 3" exhaust, FMIC, intake mods & pod filter, BOV, boost tee etc. My trouble is where to go now. I am looking at fitting a fuel pump & FPR but am stuck on choice of turbo & tuning. For the turbo I am thinking of either a Trust TD05/06 or R33 GCG hi-flow. As for tuning does anyone know how much difference a Dr Drift remap would make compared to a SAFC or similar? I am aiming for roughly 200rwkw's. Also would injectors be necessary at this stage? A lot of 32's seem to be making 200+ on stockers
  4. Looking at fitting either of these turbos to my RB20. Any feedback from people who have experienced this engine/turbo combination 1sthand? I have been told I need a spacer plate for the Trust turbo but does anyone know if it will fit up to a split dump pipe? Any help would be greatly appreciated
  5. I have for sale one set of unused white-faced dials for an R33 GTST Skyline. These replace all gauge faces in your instrument cluster. Very cool. Lights off, white gauges, lights on, blue gauges. Come with everything you need to install. (Included instructions are pretty poor but I have some generic instructions for these style gauges if needed) As mentioned, these have never been used & are in perfect condition. Asking price is $150 ono. Brett
  6. Would drilling out the restrictor in the turbosmart valve help? What size do you go with the turbotech items?
  7. Having a bit of camera trouble at the moment. Will try again soon. Why, how could this help? Is there anything that could cause this?
  8. Me neither. have had it off & back on. Without it I get 10 psi by 3000rpm but with it, same as before. Only on about 5 psi by 3000 rpm & still slowly rising.
  9. Come on. Does any1 have any ideas? My mate & his brother both have S13 silvia's with boost tee's. My mate experiences the same lag problem that I do in 2nd gear while his brothers car runs fine but has a tuned ECU. Does this suggest that an ECU remap would fix the problem?
  10. Hi guys. I have just fitted a turbosmart boost tee (the new blue 1) to my 32 GTST. Lag in 1st gear is not too bad but in 2nd it takes about 5 seconds to hit full boost. This is probly getting close to 4500-5000 rpm. Is this normal on boost tee's? Other mods are 3" turboback, FMIC, BOV & pod filter. I have been running 10 psi with no probs & have now upped to app. 13-14 psi.

  13. Guys, how do I tell if a certain turbo is suitable for my car? I have an R32 GTST & have recently purchased a t3/t4 turbo, being told it was a bolt-on item. Now realisisng it is not, I'm starting to wonder how suited it is to my engine. Has anybody tried or seen this engine/turbo combination before & with what results? I am wondering if I should spend the money modifying it to fit or resell it & spend the extra on a Sliding highflow. This is my 1st turbo upgrade. Thanks
  14. OK. Thank you Adriano for the help. Also I am after peoples thoughts on swapping from a water & oil-cooled turbo to a oil-cooled only turbo. Isn't this downgrading in a sense? Is there any way of getting the turbo modified for water cooling? Any prices (even guesses) would be great.
  15. Hi. Does anyone please have any information on modifying a T3/T4 turbo to fit a RB20DET? It has a standard manifold, standard oil/water lines & a split dump pipe. My biggest problem is that due to the wastegate actuator position, I cannot turn the compressor housing to the right angle for the intercooler piping. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need heaps

  17. I have a full, unused set of white faced gauges for an R33 GTST. These are electro-luminescent so they light up blue at night. Includes everything needed to install. As new... $120ono Brett
