  1. Mate interested in the front shocks if u still have them? Dont need springs. Could you do $50 delivered?
  2. Have read something on here b4 about earthing out your fuel pump to eliminate low rpm stalling. It seemed successful but now I cant fi nd it. Does anyone know what wire you earth to make the pump run flat out all the time? Apparently it normally slows down at low rpm & idle. Cheers
  3. Have just fitted a highflow & while the original turbo lines were off I think my block drained of all coolant. Lost a lot of water. Now its back together but when Im trying to bleed it no water is coming out of the bleedbolt on the inlet manifold. Am wondering if the block is empty? If so, how do I fill it?
  4. While keeping the 32 of course!
  5. At the moment, next car will be a 84' Corolla with a warmed RB25 on the cheap. (as I have a spare engine sitting in my shed) Over next few years would like a FD RX7 with a 20B single-turbo conversion :laughing-smiley-014:
  6. A s2 R33 turbo would almost suit your needs but running 14 psi all day every day may lead to premature failure. Getting close to the turbo's limit. I would suggest a Slide highflow for around $950 c/o or a GCG highflow for $2000. Both will have no problems at all & are direct replacement bolt-on items. Just depends what you want to spend...
  7. Mate took the turbo to Enzed for me while I was at work & they apparently didnt have anything. Sent him to another shop which quoted around $200 for Speedflow fittings & lines. I just want banjo bolts & couplings with a short pipe to suit the turbo then will cut my lines & use flexible hi-temp stuff (silicon?) to join the lines. Flared ends of course. Can anyone suggest anywhere else for banjo bolts & the like? Or even better has anyone actually tried this cheap way out?
  8. Have got the dump pipe to suit, the compressor outlet sorted & can modify the oil drain myself easy enough, its just the banjo bolts are a different thread & size. Do I have to replace the water line going all the way behind the motor? I also thought a 4-bolt pattern was strange for an internally gated turbo... Here are some pics.
  9. Yeah that was it mate. Just went back & checked out the original For Sale thread. Was definitely advertised as a GCG RB25 hi-flow. Also just realised it said it included a 3.5" dump when it only came with a 2.5". Now because this wanker has to lie to sell shit, I'm screwed & dont have a car. What should have been a one day job (dump & intercooler are modified ready) has just turned into a major headache.
  10. Sorry mate, should have explained myself a bit better. Chasing turbo banjo bolts. (Oil feed & water feed/return bolts)
  11. I have recently purchased a secondhand turbo for my car (R32 GTST) which I believed to be, (was advertised as) an R33 turbo, highflowed by GCG. However upon receiving the turbo I immediately realised it was not. After calling GCG, I have been told the turbo is a mixture of Garrett GT & HKS parts. Is this the older style GCG hi-flow I have heard of? Has a 4-bolt exhaust outlet & is rated at 550hp if that helps... I just want to know if anyone has fitted one of these before & what they done with the oil & water lines? As soon as I saw the turbo I realised my dump & intercooler pipe(s) were not going to work with it but the oil & water looked identical. Pulled it all apart this weekend & found this is not the case. Now I need to get my car running for work next week & am totally screwed. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Apologies for the long post.
  12. Desperately chasing some stock banjo bolts for my 32. Pick-up in Melbourne preferred as I am trying to get my hands on some asap (this weekend)
  13. I replaced all the manifold studs about 6 months ago while fitting a dump pipe & replaced the gasket then so dont want to do it again unnecessarily. Removed turbo & manifold as a whole so wasn't sure about splitting them in the car. Mechanic by trade mate, so replacing studs is no problem... Just dont get to work on Skylines etc. quite as much as I would like... Thanks for your help
  14. Need to get my stock 32 turbo off to replace with a similarly sized 33 hi-flow. Is it possible to get the turbo on & off without removing the manifold or is this a must? Want to know if I need a manifold gasket because this will be getting done at home over a weeend. Want everything I need prior to removing anything. Yhank you
  15. Yeah, have a Trust Power Extreme II on my 32. Quiet with a nice tone...
  16. This months copy of Redline magazine (yes I know its sh*t but I get it for free) features a S15 with a BEE-R supercharger kit & a turbo. The magazine says that air is fed through the turbo, THEN through the supercharger, which being a mechanic is against everything I have been taught. Make of that what you will....
  17. Yeah mate, if you already have ya p's, & already have an R33 then ya sweet to drive that around legally. As long as it is legal. The new law just effects people getting their p's or buying hi-po cars on their p's after july 1st.
  18. Is the rear housing as easy to take off?
  19. Its all oily & dust has stuck to oil so wont just blow off. The compressor wheel is clean, it is the turbine housing. So there is no seals I can damage? Thanks mate
  20. Not sure if I'm posting in the right section here but anyway, I have recently purchased a secondhand R33 GCG hi-flow for my Skyline, but on close inspection have noticed there is a bit of dust & crap inside it. How could I go about cleaning it? Was going to blast it out with a solvent gun, dry it with air then squirt some oil in it but am still worried about drying out the bearings & having them fail or something silly like that. Any advice?
  21. Not actually in any mad rush now. Was planning to fit injectors before next tune but due to overspending on other items its not going to happen now. Aiming for about 200rwkw & a lot of people seem to be making that on stock injectors pretty easily... Like to keep things on the safe side but so will definitely keep it in mind.
  22. I'm really looking for a secondhand Nissan item. Just all of the ones ive seen have been pretty highly priced. ($150+) Backyarder is my second option to cut cost...
  23. What supporting mods are you running with your highflow? Aiming for 200rwkw's, I am hoping to get away with highflow, fuel pump, exhaust, cooler & remap. Want to leave injectors, FPR, AFM etc. stock at the moment due to money, or lack of. Do you think this would be achievable? Also what is lag like compared to stock?
  24. Am desperately after info regarding a rough power limit for RB20 injectors. I am aiming for around 200rwkw & dont want to upgrade yet if I dont have to. I have heard a lot of different stories so it is hard to tell what is true...
