  2. Need an R32 GTR Front Spoiler Lip urgently pm me pls if you have one/know where i can get one -D
  3. all good if they scare easy, but if they bash you and steal ur shit, nothing u can do agree with all of the above tho. i find having 2 dogs and a samurai sword among the many other security systems helps me sleep well at night -D
  4. Same. My mechanic however said the same thing as forum experts about the Shockproof (aka smurf poo) - said its notorious for wearing out synchros and then explained to me why And considering how shagged my box is, I'm not surprised. Been using good quality mineral oil since and while I do have issues with the synchros, it hasnt gotten progressively worse Even Redline themselves say on the website 'not to be used with synchromesh gearboxes'. so yeah. believe the company or believe the tuner? I know shaun knows his stuff but I personally would never use it -D
  5. Probably me, I work in mawson lakes and the R is my daily -D
  6. Yeah theres a trend with the people that whinge about the police - generally they're youngsters who get pulled over for doing stupid shit and decide not to elaborate that part of the story when they have a whinge in the forums "I wasn't doing anything wrong!" "Are you sure?" "Yeah!" "Are you really sure?" "well... I did do a fully hektic skid just before I saw him..." "There ya go then...." Thats not counting people who get defected and simply cop it sweet because they know for a fact their mods are defectable - whether they like it or not... And it doesnt count if you drive an orange car > Orange car = Kick Me In the Balls, Please Officer -D
  7. if you're getting a gtr box and u know it has issues, then why not fix the problem rather than applying a band aid? shockproof does root synchros. good for straight cut/dogboxes but BAD for gtr stock boxes do yourself a favour - take the box to a trans workshop, get the synchros fixed and check out the gears for stress -D
  8. bahahahha gold! -D
  9. give them a call first - save u the drive just incase they havent got what u need -D
  10. Bahnerts Steel Supplies on OG Road might be able to sort you out, bit far north for you maybe but they have a decent range. Otherwise Smart Aluminium if you're happy to have an aluminium tune -D
  11. yeah i got two stockers mate, call me when u need em -D
  12. Speak to madaz, he has contacts -D
  13. Nah, I'd rather refresh it to brand new standard as part of the general rebuild... As soon as I can get a price from ya, I'll check my calendar and see when I can get it done -D EDIT- This is the link I was reading about xfer rebuilds and the corresponding prices for the parts http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...amp;pid=5227996
  14. depends. getting gearboxes out of gtr's is not a quick job, would cost a fair bit i'd imagine, and I dont have a spare xfer case so my car would be off the road while that gets done.. ;\ have to wait n see what martin says.. i know a lot of the parts used in the rebuild are relatively cheap but its very labour intensive from all accounts -D
  15. wow. thats an understatement... more black smoke than a bonghead convention -D
  16. yeah, i went with the brand new N1's for that very reason too, and even at 250kw it rocks my jocks.. just want to join that elusive 300kw club if at all possibly without rooting stuff up - will wait and see what martin says about rebuilding my xfer case before i get too serious tho -D EDIT - And if he has a pfc, turbos and a nur, whats he waiting for? lol... a full tune will be so much better for his power, response, engine cleanliness and wallett - get he wants to run it in but if he wants to run it in, just keeping it under 5000rpm with a nice tune for the first 5000k would be enuff wouldnt it?
  17. Nope I'd gone before they ran redbacks car - gonna have to ask him what ecu hes running -D
  18. hahahaha its the fat slags, on xfactor -D
  19. got the front spoiler lower lip for sale? mines busted ;\ -D
  20. cool thx for clearing that up looks like the 32s all had pretty interesting results I was sure that redbacks nur would be pulling more than he did which is why I thought i'd ask -D
  21. how much were u doing in both awd and rwd? interesting a percentage value so i can compare it with other peoples results - can help when regarding how efficient the transfer case is on any given power level - as well as the comparison between the 33 and 34 attessa systems to the 32's admittedly slower reacting attessa -D
  22. are u still paying them each month? or yearly? if so. yes -D
  23. doesnt matter what the tuners are - the result on the same dyno is the benchmark - and thats why it would be interesting to see. its all very well and good for me to go to my tuner and get a printout, but every dyno is different - if u neutralize that variable by having them all ran on the same dyno (pref all in rwd tho i know it cant be done) then you'd get a good idea of actual real world power and torque curves not criticising the event in any way at all, just that would be the icing on the cake imho -D
  24. depends how u overlaid it obviously you wouldnt have a 100kw car on a 200kw chart nor a 200kw car on a 300kw chart colour coded lines are done all the time. sure it could be done, even if one had to plot graph points into another piece of software the first bunch of gtrs were ran in 4wd... didnt seem to have any visible problems? only ones that werent ran in awd was my own and panzers.. i for one was very keen on seeing how much power loss i'd get in 4wd mode as opposed to rwd only -D
  25. What would be cool is if we could get a big ass graph with everyones power curves overlaid would really put things into perspective, not just be about peak power but to also show how responsive some cars are not sure if it can be done but it'd be awesome if we could do that next dyno day also some r32 gtrs were ran awd and some were ran rwd - bit of a discrepancy there for the sakes of comparison those are the only two things that I think would improve the next dyno day - beer would probably improve it too -D
